  1. They really need to trade him now….What's the point he'll play here and there and he's out again. We Laker fans deserve better than this, its just unfortunate he's not a healthy built of a guy to play the sport. Just my opinion.

  2. They Wasn't Making Any Moves Anyway Trevor, U Know That. Gassin Up Da Fanbase. That's All They Were Worried About From Da Beginning THE CAP SPACE AND LUXURY TAXES.

  3. That is more than unfortunate. I think this injury is related to the midfoot sprain injury AD had back in February.

Back then I said that midfoot sprain injuries are serious injuries.

Lakers' medical staff hasnt said how long AD will not be able to play.

It's also unfortunate that Gabriel is injured too because Lakers need all their bigs when Anthony Davis can't play. With all that said, I think Lakers players can step up their play. And Westbrook can continue to lead the second unit. Also I think with good spacing LeBron can lead the Lakers to win enough games until hopefully when AD comes back(which is greatness because he's playing in his 20th season). And hopefully AD will return to play this season and be able to play the rest of the season without injuries.

  4. 1.SEASON OVER! 2.INCONSISTENT! 3.INJURY PRONE and 4.Getting OLD,NOT BETTER!PAST 2YRS. in Making DECISIONS NEEDS 2 B QUITE!!

  5. this will be 3 yrs in a row of AD being inured…he is a great player but maybe time to move on from AD…Lebron is in yr 20 and things are going to go downhill fast for the Lakers

  6. Just as predicted.. AD injured at center for the second time with the Lakers.. yet they keep hiring coaches that dont play a 5 and move AD from PF to center… stat padding AD at center doesnt equate to WINNING GAMES it resulting to terrible defense and AD injured

  7. AD is a heck of a player when his body is right. Unfortunately he is not on the court enough to build around. Maybe we get 50-55 games from him this regular season. He gave us 40 last year and 36 the year before that. There is enough data to conclude he can't be our main #1 option.

LBJ remains a great player, but at 38 he is starting to show us that even super-humans can't attack the rim tenaciously for 20+ years. We can't count on LBJ to be our main #1 through his extension.

The Lakers need to land a high end player – not just a skilled player who complements AD and LBJ (Bojan). Ideally, we need to find a new #1 option; this most likely will not be possible given our asset value. Stockpile our THREE 1sts and $33+ million in cap space and go shopping this summer. Spend our assets now for a great player if someone becomes available before the trade deadline. But most likely, summer will be our window for a big move.

LBJ and AD please call Jerami Grant and get him to sign with us this summer. He is a high end, 2-way wing that can share the #1 load with AD and LBJ – he will waste his years in POR if he stays put.

We help our breathe and hoped for the best. We got more of the same … with another flawed roster. Don't tinker at the margins, re-tool in a big way.

  8. Lakers need a legit center now. I think Thomas Bryant and Wenyen Gabriel will be able to do a solid job filling the 4 position. Let's not make 38yr old Lebron be mismatched and need to guard the opposing 5's like Embiid and Jokic in their prime while having to score the bulk of the Lakers points smh. Myles Turner is ideal right now, secondary option could be Jakob Poeltl at center. But the Lakers still need couple legit shooters…. Lakers management will probably do nothing though because they've been making excuses after excuses about why they haven't made a deal. Lakers management been dragging this since about 20 games into last season when it was obvious it the pieces didn't mesh, said they'd wait till the deadline to make something happen, then the off-season, then before training camp, then about 10-15 games into the season, then Thanksgiving time, then shortly after December 15th… Now here they are presented with another excuse as to why they won't do a deal right now, when in reality they actually need to do a deal more than ever to hold them over, and to help mitigate it from happening again.

  9. This just about put the fork in it! Just let the young guys play and develop. Christie, Austin, Walker need more playing time
