Former NBA All Star Mo Williams played on some very good teams Cleveland Cavaliers teams with LeBron James. Now he’s the head basketball coach at Jackson St. Deion Sanders left the football program and is now the head coach at Colorado and before his departure, he spoke on the obstacles that SWAC schools and HBCUs face with funding and support. Coach Williams echoed those sentiments when speaking to the media.

It's the executive administration. It's most but not all HBCUs, they're top heavy and use funds frivolously for themselves. The misappropriation and mismanagement of funds is the culprit of most HBCUs. I know from experience and looking/analyzing the data at those institutions.

The same thing happens in football. You wouldn't expect the University of Alabama to come to Jackson State to play a football game on your home field. Do you?
