Nothing to say. Dont kid yourselves with tank posts this is just bad coaching no draft can save this.

HOW ABOUT THAT NIX FIRST HALF?

    ANYONE SEEN OUR 3PT SHOOTING?

    ANYONE SEEN JALEN’S SHOT?

    ANYONE HEARD OF DEFENSE?

    TANK ROLLING SO HARD RN

  4. willymoose8

same shit as the last Spurs game: competitive until they pull away at the end of the third. Disappointing but the tank keeps rolling I guess.

Good game from Sengun and a rare Daishen Nix playmaking masterclass are the positives from an otherwise depressing defeat.

    Fuck the Spurs

Too many defensive letdowns, shooting was off, only bright spot was fewer turnovers, but overall, just burn the game tape and move onto the next one

So do our players get half of their salaries since they only play a good half of basketball?

I’m gonna say it. I don’t care how young Jalen Green is, I don’t think he’s it.

Before people try to compare his early years and averages to kobe…please don’t. Kobe had a much more rounded offensive game and a different mentality.

Jalen Green will be a Monte Ellis or Leandro Barbosa type player. His skill set is much more similar to these two. He has almost no offense game besides try to blow by someone with his quickness.

Jalen only puts up decent scoring numbers cause he’s the best option on the worst team.

tyty minutes were genuinely the best part of the game for me

Spurs lose in the Tankathon. double losers.

Bad coaching and shitty roster construction. Stone needs to make some moves sooner rather than later. It’s a disservice to the top draft picks to try and develop players that shouldn’t be given the opportunity on this team.

Based on the comments and final score it’s probably for the better that I wasn’t able to tune into this game

  12. Tyty was the highlight of the game. I wish Sengun got more minutes cause he was gonna score 30. It wasn’t like we were winning this shit with Bruno Fernando anyway.

  13. Building a team around pure scoring guards doesn’t work in 2022 anymore, they are more so plug and play guys rather than guys you build a team around. You don’t “find pieces” around them cause they themselves ARE the pieces. With a point guard you can build and orchestrate an offense. With a big you can build a defense. With a wing you can get both to some extend. With a scoring guard you get an offense catering to pleasing one man’s desire to shoot and practically no defense. Even the best scoring guards doesn’t lead winning teams with the exception of devin booker who I think is more cause of the team and system that monty Williams built and Booker is the main attacker on that team

For the love of God fire Silas immidiately. The guy has a decent point guard in tyty and doesn’t give him more than garbage time. He has sngun scoring 22 points and sits him for nearly the whole 4th quarter. He forces Kpj as a PG which he clearly isn’t and don’t get me started on his dumb 12 man rotation and 3 center rotation

How did he get the job in the first place?!?

  15. SevdiginKim

Team defense just vanished for some reason. Even subbing in KMJ-Eason-Garuba didn’t help. I guess they got frustrated with spurs making all of their 3s?

I guess Silas thought subbing Garuba for AlP would fix the rotations and the transition D but that only kinda worked in the 1st. otherwise it was the same shit bc no one was doing anything. and he just gave up in the 4th as usual

I have so many thoughts but I should filter them.

Damn, this was a maddening loss. We should not have lost so severely to them. Just no defense, low effort. Defense wins games! I’m tired of sitting there thinking “we’ll if they get made enough maybe they’ll play well.” You shouldn’t have to face disrespect to try on defense.

It felt like I watched Nix play more than Sengun which… even if you are neutral at best about Nix it’s not FUN to watch him play. Christ, Silas.

I don’t care if we lose I just want to see us play well. To try. Give me a solid defense. Give me enjoyable players.

I’m so over Silas benching sengun.

At one point in the third I kept shouting to out tyty in. I’ve seen Nix enough.

Losing my patience on J.Green man. He really looks like a low bball iq chucker out there. Or is it because of the coaching? Could have had Mobley ffs.
