$25 million is something like one-twentieth of what the NBA paid two ABA owners to NOT field a team for forty+ years after the merger.

The NBA should be ashamed of itself. They were waiting for all these people to die so they didn’t have to pay any money. A multi-billion dollar organization was literally waiting for people to die so they wouldn’t have to pay millions. And those pieces of shit would have succeeded if people didn’t fight for these ABA players and their families.
The NBA should get absolutely no credit for doing something they were morally obligated to do in the first place.
