Assumptions: I’m operating in a world the wizards are still attempting to field the most competitive roster around Bradley Beal they can.
Theory: Would probably be the highest ceiling guy the wizards could get without giving up any draft capital. John Collins has shown the ability to be a high-end starter before, and he is at odds with the Atlanta front office. With Atlanta already making their all-in move this summer, this may be the best chance they can get for a redo, especially because Collins his having an awful year. They could keep Kuzma long-term or are able to get out of the Collins deal and open cap space.

I think kuzma is better. Impacts the game in more ways than Collins

I think I’d rather keep kuz and Barton and not commit to a 4 year deal. Even if say the wizards turn things around this season and go on a good streak to make the play in tournament, what is that really in the long run… it’s one thing if they’re sitting on the 6-8 seed and Collins trade potentially getting us a top 4 seed which would at least provide some short term fun. But as it stands, let’s not hop on any long term contracts
