Joe Mazzulla Talks Recent Struggles at Celtics Practice
BRIGHTON, MA — Celtics Interim Head Coach Joe Mazzulla spoke to reporters at Celtics practice on Tuesday. Boston had dropped 4 out of their last 5 and own the league’s worst offensive rating over their last nine games.
I’m not liking these answers. I was at the game Sunday. They didn’t play great and fall short. Their offense was stagnant as all hell. I can think of about 5-10 plays total where the ball movement looked right.
Terrible coach. Thinks contested threes are good shots, absolutely awful. He is trying to demonstrate "poise" of a young coach through challenges during the season which is totally fine, but the things he is saying are total nonsense. At this point we don't know what's worse his in game lack of momentum control and adjustments or his postgame nonsensical and delusional analysis and deflection. He reminds me of Barry Switzer took over a really great roster and team with a culture, core and style of play already developed and rode the wave for a bit until they realized he was an idiot.

the lack of ball movement is the root cause of the recent losses.
