The Nuggets are the 3rd ranked offense in the league, missing MPJ for large parts of this season, and Murray being unable to string together more than 2 excellent offensive games.
They are the 27th ranked defense and only have a Net RTG of +1.4. Even so, they’re about to be 19-11 and #1 seed in the West. Do you know how great you have to be to overcome a 27th ranked defense and still be that high team record?
Today the Nuggets starting lineup is : Braun/AG/Jokic/KCP/Bruce Brown.
By all accounts that’s an average starting lineup, which without Jokic wouldn’t win 20 games. So how is he beating the #1 seed Grizzlies by double digits? Does he have 25+ points in 3 quarters? No.
He has 11/10/9/2 in 3 quarters, and quite possibly one of the most dominant 11/10/9/2.
