WHY IS THIBS SCREAMING AT HIM FOR GETTING INJURED LOL

  2. As a referee fan and an injury fan, I’m conflicted

  3. 3luejays

Injuries are getting out of hand. Refs going down now. Load management for refs incoming

  4. Swellpearz5598

Don’t they always have a backup ref for this kind of stuff

  5. pessimist_lakers_fan

First the stars getting injured, then the refs. Next will be the coaches

  6. MedvedFeliz

Ref sprained his ankle at the Poole Party!

  7. Kind_Development708

I’m honestly kind of surprised the NBA doesn’t have an emergency ref at every game

  8. i wish r/nba would make rules that the extra 5 seconds of context is required for the post to be up. come on man they showed it right after

  9. LeBronFinals8Points

It’s unfortunate it wasn’t Ed Malloy

High school style! Gonna be some bad misses.

    The other two refs thinking:

*I’m about to put the team on my MF’n back* 😤

I keep preaching this, but the NBA needs tennis style refs. Just park 6+ of them around the court so they don’t have to run up and down the court with the action.

You’d have a much bigger pool of talent to draw from of people with great eye sight and great judgement who can’t run up and down the court for 48 minutes.

These refs have got to start load managing!

  16. MyLittleRocketShip

nba gotta check for injury prone refs

  17. chefnoguardD

This guy is always injury prone. Just can’t trust giving him the max.

They showed a replay, where is the replay?

  19. cubbiesworldseries

It would have been incredible if he had limped for three or four steps and then hit the Griddy.

  20. coleslonomatopoeia

Every ref has that “fairly in shape Dad” body type

  21. LaBronda

The refs also need load management. No more back to backs

  22. sorendiz

categorically untrue that ref injuries are rare because i have seen an absolute ton of bruised egos from them just in the last few days. Godspeed to ray acosta and john goble, get well soon

  23. sequoia2075

Surprised this doesn’t happen more given these are a bunch of 40-70 year old men running up and down the court for 48 minutes.

  24. He taped up and returned, apparently twisted that ankle

  25. milopalmer

In times like these, we miss Chris Webber’s advice to play dirty now they’re down a ref.

  26. Will RJ be fined for making contact with an official, twice?

  27. thebreakfastbuffet

Never heard of the name Scott Wallace before.

    Must be a good ref.
