Deandre Ayton and Monty Williams get into it on the Phoenix Suns sidelines

Phoenix Suns big man Deandre Ayton and head coach Monty Williams get into it on the sideline during team’s loss to the Washington Wizards? Is it something or absolutely nothing? Espo and Saul break it down.

  1. So sick of Monty targeting Ayton, man. I’ve seen Book completely forget about his coverage and leave wide open 3 shooters in the corner. Not a peep from Monty. Popovitch used to chew out Duncan just like anyone else on the team, but Monty is so afraid/scared to hurt Paul and Book’s feelings that he exclusively exerts his frustration on DA because he is a “nice guy”.

  2. Monty is NOT going to be chewing DA out OPENLY in front of the team if DA didn't do something that pushed him to THAT PLACE!! The amount of points DA scored doesn't mean he STILL couldn't have been the ISSUE. DA seems to be HOT HEADED and stubborn! Mikal doesn't have that kinda vibe to be arguing with teammates? Now DA is arguing with him too?? He's the issue! Not Monty!

  3. This team don't deserve no ring. Sarver was trash. But that " Stink " is still here no matter what you think. The Stink of this franchise needs time. Need action James Jones. I still think James Jones don't have a clue running this team.
His dumb a.. should know he needs another point getter and rebounding type 4 man.

  4. Did you folks not catch the heated convo between Bridges and DA? What coach “freezes out” one of your highest paid players on the team? Nobody. Cmon guys. I don’t see a whole lot of fellow teammates coming in to defend him either, do you? Perhaps, and I’m just throwing it out there, it’s actually a DA problem?

  5. You guys act like D.A. has been the picture of consistency and has somehow earned the right to challenge Monty. When in fact over all he's been mediocre at best. And everytime we watch Luka or Trey Young it's crystal clear that this organization made the wrong choice by picking him with the first pick.

  6. It isn't just about the hook shot. He does that so he doesn't have to make contact. If he goes up strong he gets and 1s. The other team in foul trouble. You in a good rhythm if you're not making shots and takes the other team out of rhythm. Plus a few other positives. There's no way to debate or argue with ppl who want him to be aggressive. IMO he needs to be way more assertive for this team to do anything significant.
