If they wanna blow up I think they definitely would without Caruso. With Caruso it honestly tips the value enough that Iโ€™m not sure they would

  2. HarryGoldstein

How would this result in +12 wins for us?

Who would do all the “pLaYmAkInG” with Russ gone?

  3. Those picks would be protected without being protected

  4. AgentScarn7

I think there is zero chance Chicago does this. They can get a better return than an expiring contract and 2 firsts. It would be a perfect trade for us though.

  5. Traditional_Gift_480

Ainโ€™t no way in hell my team would do that shit wtf

  6. JeffFoxworthySux

Theyโ€™d probably laugh us off the phone

I’m not giving up those picks for those players. Need better players.

In general the Lakers should not trade to get back players they recently traded.

Itโ€™s crazy how laker FO wouldnโ€™t do 9m/3yr for AC

  9. Bahamut727

Minus Caruso this is a fair deal for both. Iโ€™d then do Nunn for reddish

    AD/Bron/Demar/lonnie/Bev

    Vuc/reddish/Troy/Reaves/Dennis

    Jones/Bryant/Wenyen/Max

They hang up. 0% chance the bulls say yes to this.

AC is the perfect role player and is on a team friendly contract. If theyโ€™re blowing it up to build around Lavine, heโ€™s probably staying there. Theyโ€™ll probably get some better assets for DeMar unfortunately.

  12. CabbageStockExchange

No. They could get more value trading pieces separately for a greater overall haul most likely. Also we again have zero leverage

I think Caruso throws it out of balance, theyโ€™d probably be able to get a pick for him alone from a contender.

Vooch I donโ€™t think has much value, seems like his stock around the league has gone down, and heโ€™s on an expiring deal. So itโ€™s basically two picks for DeMar which seems reasonable, considering his age and the fact that he only has 1.5 years left on his deal. We can probably throw some light protections too, Top 3 or somethingโ€ฆ

  14. Why would they give us two starters a star for two picks? I would love it if they did. I just donโ€™t see the benefit for the bulls.

We giving too much. Make the first protected and have them take Bev

Would Jeanie do it? Thatโ€™s $30 mil since weโ€™re in luxury tax. Did she pay Caruso $30m? No

  17. XxNoKnifexX

Maybe. Itโ€™s a rebuild in a can. I think they would be way quicker to get off LaVine since he isnโ€™t an expiring. Itโ€™s unlikely tho.

  18. JilJungJukk

We canโ€™t apply protections on our picks, cos if they donโ€™t convey we have to give further future picks(unlikely theyโ€™ll be okay with second round picks) which canโ€™t do rn after 2029.

  19. MITWestbrook

Chicago would do it. They need to rebuild. Easy trade.

Lakers say no. Both are bums too

  20. blacPanther55

Takeoff either Vuc or Caruso and then maybe.

  21. blacPanther55

Throw in Lonnie Walker and Damian Jones and 2 seconds
