Atlanta Hawks president of basketball operations Travis Schlenk is moving into a senior advisory role with the team. General manager Landry Fields will take over the Hawks day-to-day basketball operations. This shift in responsibility comes at an interesting time. The NBA trade deadline is roughly a month-and-a-half away. The Hawks have spent most of the year around .500 and in range to be in the Play-In Tournament. Atlanta has been heavily involved in trade rumors, with John Collins the player most often mentioned. Schlenk ran the Hawks basketball operations for six-plus years, and acquired every player on the current roster. Now, those decisions will be made by Fields, who was promoted to the GM role this past offseason. – Adrian Wojnarowski/ESPN

This move has nothing to do with any trade. This was a Travis decision made in June. This is why Landry was sitting with AJ and Tyreese Martin and not Travis. Travis sat with Cooper and Jalen.
AROUND THE SAME TIME THEY HIRED Lamborghini as an assistant coach to become the interim coach for coach Nate. TRAVIS IS NOT FIRED HE IS THE ADVISOR TO WORK WITH LANDRY. TRAE OR NATE WHO IS GOING TO GO NOT TRAE.
I knew Nate was going to get Travis moved. Now that I look at it the only person that is going to get fired is Nate if he don't learn how to play Travis and Landry picks. AJ and Tyreese Martin is Landry Picks.
