Title had me worried there was gonna be minor locker room drama about roster spots. Obviously he wants to start, but Im happy it seems like hes cool with being on the bench and at least enjoys leading the 2nd unit

  2. It’s really a shame he doesn’t want to embrace that 6th man role. Could be our Lou Will type player off the bench. If he rather start on some other trash team then he can go do that I guess. I don’t think he’s a starting caliper player on a playoff team.

nothing wrong with that. He doesnt seem unhappy with his role here, but if he does want out the Magic can facilitate a trade. Either we get a vet back up PG to replace him, or we get a Fultz upgrade (hopefully an allstar) and move Fultz to the bench. We dont have to make a move right now though, maybe in the offseason when things become more clear for us.

Love the confidence but Markelle has the starting PG position on lock and he’s too undersized to be a starting 2. It would cause matchup problems. He’s the perfect spark off the bench like a Jordan Clarkson or Tyler Herro. Hopefully he can buy in.

Concerning to say the least. Cole is gonna do the right thing and play with everything he’s got every minute he is out there, but it is definitely clear he wants a starting role. Which is a shame, cause it is so clear he is just an ace as a 6th man. Won’t be shocked if we start hearing trade rumors about him next season.
