Problem all season has been defense. Felt like pacers had at least 10 wide open dunks/layups on simple cuts where Celtics didn't pick up a man. Also rebounding is lazy and no one boxes out, even though they dominated the glass yesterday in second half. The defensive breakdowns have been a problem all season. Last year best perimeter defense, this year mostly wide open threes and blown assignments have done them in.
Perk is wrong they’re not playing selfish basketball there assist are down because the role players have not been hitting their shots look at the stats in defenders are closing out way better on the perimeter and that was their bread and butter offense was open three-pointers from the other guys

They are starting to miss the task master. Ime had these young guys playing team ball. That requires constant diligence. They will continue to lose. Joe can't control these young guys. They don't respect him.

celtics fans booing is disgraceful…but yea the Cs just not making 3 at a historic rate anymore which is what I was worried about…just launching 3s and making them is NOT a recipe for success…we saw it with the Rockets but atleast the Cs are having issues early on in the season with enough time to fix it.
