But he’s scoring less so he must be worse.. /s
As ugly as it looks right now, he clearly wants to be a PG and the team is in agreement. That’s why there’s so much play away from the basket. However the one aspect he really needs to improve is on ball defence, if he wants to be considered a 2 way guard like Jrue/Lowry he can’t get blown by that easily
If he gets a consistent iso jumper he will be instantly elite. I know we’re worried about scot’s defense but I feel like that will get better with conditioning. Having the ball in his hands to set up the offense with hockey assists and handoffs to pascal for the next action are what we need to jump into contender status
Hw needs to be professional. Right now he is unreliable and there is a lack of consistency in his focus and approach.
He needs to better than Thad, who is setting a pretty good benchmark for what should be expected every game as far as defense and rebounding.
hide this from doug smith
This has been very noticeable too I’m glad the advanced stats agree. Every night he makes some passing that really catch ur eye. The efficiency and consistency are the issues this year, his talent imo has gotten better with the playmaking+his jumper looking a little cleaner
Has anyone ever doubted his playmaking and passing? It’s everything else we’re concerned about.
Everyone calm down he’s 21 years old.
In America’s eyes he is now allowed to drink alcohol.
Am I the only one who’s not that worried about Scottie?
