Is the Utah Jazz fanbase rudderless? Trade Market is open what are the hurdles for the Utah Jazz?

Does it feel rudderless to be a fan of the Utah Jazz right now? David Locke, radio voice of the Utah Jazz and Jazz NBA Insider holds a group therapy session to have an open discussion of how Jazz fans are supposed to approach this unique yet awesome season so far?

The NBA Trade market is said to be open on December 15th. However, rarely are trades made before the first of the year. Interestingly, Dennis Lindsey made two very early trades in his tenure with the Jazz and Justin Zanik was a part of that staff. There are some elements that make it hard for the Jazz to make some deals.

Finally, it is a late game watch and Portland has a strange final 5 minutes last night v. OKC, while Minnesota doesn’t make the plays that are needed for a winning team v. Dallas. Teams are moving their primary scorers off the ball to see if they can get them the ball without a double team.

  1. I for one would rather watch a Jazz game this year then last year.
These guys compete to the end.
I have yet to see this team blow a 25-point lead in the fourth quarter.

  2. i am not a jazz fan, just a fan of this group of underdogs playing hard. So when they inevitable get traded away, ill just watch another team.

  3. I totally get what you mean by rudderless. I never really thought about it that way but it fits. I love every win but what's more fun is seeing the players and coach grow over the season. It's freeing not having to worry about getting past the second round. Rooting for the underdog is much better anyway.
