Nikola Jokic is humiliating the league right now. After winning the first ever Michael Jordan NBA MVP Trophy as a back to back Most valuable player, the Joker is once again taking the NBA by storm. Nikola Jokic is once again primed to win his 3rd-straight MVP award. As said by most analysts, Nikola Jokic is the MVP until someone shows me otherwise. The Denver Nuggets are tied for the number one seed in the Western Conference right now. And although Jayson Tatum and Giannis Antetokounmpo are considered front runners to win the 2023 KIA MVP Award, Nikola Jokic is having another historical season for the Nuggets. Nikola Jokic crazy passes crazy triple double vs. Grizzlies have put the league on notice after being the top seed in the West. Nikola Jokic also put up 40 pts, 27 reb & 10 ast triple-double in the Denver Nuggets win vs. Charlotte, joining Wilt Chamberlain and Elgin Baylor as the only players to put up 40 points and 25 rebounds in a triple-double. Jokic also went 6th all-time in the NBA’s triple double list passing Wilt Chamberlain. Nikola Jokic is also the NBA’s new triple-double monster.

Nikola Jokic has Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. back as teammates this season, but the Denver Nuggets are somehow struggling more when Jokic is on the bench. But Denver is playing like the best offensive team in NBA history with Jokic playing. Tatum, Giannis, Doncic, Durant, and Kevin Durant are all considered to be strong candidates in the MVP race. But looking into the advanced stats and the on and off differential numbers, Nikola Jokic is still the leading candidate for the Michael Jordan MVP Trophy. But will Nikola Jokic not win a third-straight Mvp award because of voter fatigue? In this video, we’ll break down why the Joker is slowly building his case to become a 3-peat MVP.

  1. I think if Giannis stays at his current numbers or higher and the Bucks have a better record it's very likely he will win no matter what Jokic averages because the perception is Giannis is a much greater defender and the best player in the world.

But Jokic very well may be the one who deserves it again.
I believe that he is the most underrated superstar hall of famer in his prime of all time.

He's on his way to being at minimum top 20 all time, and the numbers say top 5, he just needs to have his costars to be healthy as support in the playoffs.

  2. Considering voters fatigue the only way jokic wins it this year is if jokic averages a triple double and gets number 1 overall seed, otherwise it ain’t happening and I’m a die hard nuggets fan

  3. He really is unicorn, he see plays a few seconds before they happens.
And effortless is what hurts everyone because he is doing it so naturally and with such ease.
He is simply on another level, he wants championship and he will do whatever he needs to do to get that ring.
Only he can stop himself of getting it😊

  4. Great content, objective and to the point.

Just one thing, though: After the last game Jokic currently is tied with Doncic on VORP, with 3.2 as well. But considering he's done it in less minutes, I'd give him the tie breaker over Doncic. So that puts him on top of 5, not 4, of the most popular consolidated advanced stats, with Doncic on top of 2. 😉

  5. He's white so maybe he's got a shot at it. Then maybe a quadruple NBA MVP next year and a 5th one the year after. Doesn't matter he never gets to an NBA Finals in his life ever. By the time he's 35 he'll be in the conversation of GOAT status with 10 straight MVPs, no finals, no rings, no offensive player trophy but somehow 10 fooking straight MVPs. They'll rename the MVP to his name.

    What a joke really

  6. Great job!!!I dont care about MVP award,I just truly wish him the ring one day,he deserves it as anyone else. His game is true basketball poetry…🏆🏀

  7. There's no one in the league that can match his skills and statistics right now, he is very unselfish player that make all his team mate to look better and winning a game, unlike some other players all they care is about their own stats and keep hugging the ball to make themselves looking good in scoring and other accolades sacrificing the team in losing a game , I like the fact that he love to make his teammates better, as he eloquently said in an interview about scoring vs assist , he prefer to to assist as it makes two people happy, that is very nice and very classy of him

  8. Please analyze why Denver is even more worse with Jokic resting this year ?
No Murray Jokic pick and roll play ?
No good assist / setup play guard?

  9. Been watching this game from the early 80's, played it professionally for about 10 years and I have never seen a player as skilled as Jokić is. Not a single player managed to make his teammates better as much as he does, night it and night out. Not even close. Even without a single ring yet, he's, easily, on my top 15 list. When all is said and done, I think we will have a completely different talk about Jokić. Mark my words.

  10. The guy can win MVP every year. Most efficient scorer, best playmaker and one of the best rebounder in the NBA. Nobody has this combination. Plus he is very consistent because it all comes naturally to him. People will be surprised, but he will turn out to be one of the best players to play the game ever.

  11. in terms of how valuable jokic is, only one single player on the entire roster has a positive net rating with jokic off the court, and that's Ish smith. every single player with the exception of Deandre Jordan (who has 0 minutes with jokic) has a massive swing to net positive when playing alongside him. AG has the most absurd net rating swing, going from a 11.8 with jokic on the floor, to -38.3 with him off. 7 of the nuggets players out of 13 (not including DAJ, Jack white, Collin Gillespie, or Payton watson, as they have shared 0 minutes together) have a net swing that goes from negative double digits, to positive double digits. the smallest swing is ish smith, who goes from +7.6 to +17.7. We always value great players by how they make their teammates better. He makes literally everyone he plays with significantly better.

  12. He's 0.8 assists away from averaging a triple double on the 1st seed in the west while Jamal Murray and MPJ are in and out of the lineup. B2B2B MVP

  13. He won't win it. People just don't want to see the same guy all the time, unless he pops off with some ridiculous stats there's no chance he wins. Nobody seems to like to say it, but he's the best player alive. If you go by stats a healthy Jokic wins every year. Even as a life long nuggets fan that sounds boring to me

  14. Media clowning him because he got swept on the 1st and 4-1 on the 2nd. But they all forgot that he is missing his 2nd and 3rd best player on the team.

Imagine Lebron on Miami don't have bosh and wade. Or Jordan didn't have Pippen and rodman. Doubt they could win it all
