Great get right game. Need the 3s to fall but love the process again!
JB fucking came alive in the 4th! Our paint game was fucking insane, and even 3s started falling at the end!
Are we one again đ
I like when Celtics win
Well that was enjoyable as fuck.
Despite our recent woes we really show up in the 4th.
**WE FINALLY WON!!**
In all seriousness though best we looked in a while, hopefully we can carry this momentum against the bucks.
I love Marcus Smart
This was a much, *much* needed win for this team after dropping 5 of 6, 3 in a row, and the Bucks coming up next. The beginning of the season was fun, but teams have adjusted and now the C’s need to find new ways to win even when the 3 ball isn’t falling, and we saw just that tonight. Some other quick thoughts:
-The offense just looks so different when Marcus “Not a real Point Guard” Smart is directing it. The impact he has on this team will forever be underrated by traditional stats. 6 points, 7 rebounds, 10 assists and 3 steals do not do his play tonight justice
-Brown(36/7/3) was 0/7 from deep, but turned it around to end this one. Made 3 of his final 6 from deep, and also had a single quarter career high 21 points in the 4th. I also thought his defense looked better as well which was good to see
-Tatum(30/8/5) struggled from deep as well(1/6 from 3), but he looked amazing in pretty much every other way which basically encapsulates this win as a whole
-White snapped out of his funk with 18 points on 13 shots, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and a team high +25
-Horford(17/11/2 with 2 steals and 3 blocks) looked much improved on both ends compared what we saw from him against the Pacers
-Also very notable to me is that the C’s, without Robert Williams, had TWENTY offensive rebounds. That was so good to see. The effort on the glass just looked so much better, and I hope it carries forward against the Bucks on Sunday
4th quarter JB is back
Biggest stat by far was 20 offensive rebounds and 100 shot attempts which offset the horrendous 28 three point bricks. The effort was way better today than the past two weeks
Marcus smart was so clutch w his passing this game
16 straight wins against the T’Wolves at home.
Boutta be back at the top of the east
Finally that day this sub can criticize Mazulla on not resting Jays and the starters early enough and then go hate Justin Jackson at the end of the very same game.
WE BACK! Shoutout the Jays, Derrick and Alđ Bucks and Cavs lose, we win, Good Friday đ«Ąđ„
Back to the best record in the league!
7, I owe you an apology. I wasnât really familiar with your game.
They waketh?
Was Matt Ryan the guy who delivered for Door Dash before getting in the NBA?
Either way love the loving embrace Smart gave him after the game. Smart seems to be such a solid dude.
JB read the hate from the doomers
Had me nervous. Glad we pulled it together. Good W.
Does this mean we’re 1st in the East again?
Sorry guys, this slump was on me. I had been watching the world cup. But don’t worry, now that I’ve recovered from my 3rd star hangover, I’m back to the boys in green.
Watching that game you knew they were playing better than the last few. The 3s still werent falling but if they play like that then they will be great
Good win. Our threes still aren’t falling but it looks like this team realized that the paint still exists. Hope to see Timelord in our showdown against Milwaukee.
Man I hope thatâs the light that flipped!!!
4th quarter Jaylen is something else.
That game reminded me of our identity at the end of last year
