Anunoby (26 points, 10 rebounds) and Scottie Barnes (25 points, 10 rebounds) added a combined 51 points in the victory. Darius Garland tallied a team-high 17 points and 8 assists for the Cavaliers. The Raptors improve to 15-18 on the season, while the Cavaliers fall to 22-12.

As mad as I was watching the game, I'm actually 100% fine with this loss and how it happened because the Cavs know they still have weaknesses to work on and they need to get tougher. Toronto exploited every weakness they have and hopefully the Cavs will learn from that. No matter how talented and slick you are, you still have to outwork whoever your opponent is. Hopefully this is a good reality check for them.

The Raptors gave an early Christmas present to Rapz fans! Fantastic game against a rh fled hot Cleveland Cavs team! Scottie Barnes just showed what he can do when puts himself in 3rd gear! People will question Gary Trent Jr.'s offensive numbers but they forget that he can be a defensive boogie man. This gut is defensive minded: Offensively he was 2 for 4 from 3 point land but more importantly he got 2 steals in the game and shook up things for the Cavs when he was on the floor. It looks like Nurse decided to end the Koloko experiment (at least for the short term) and rely on the seasoned vets. And if this game is any indication, the Raptors can compete with the majority of teams in the NBA when they are firing on all cylinders.
We trade the pain with you Toronto we'll hold on to this brick until Thursday. Yes I do believe we'll lose to Brooklyn Mon. with this recent display of competition.
