Day to Davis should be in this picture

  2. Vexationss

Dude goes out there and puts a masterclass on display while the dogshit GM & Owner sit and watch them lose over and over

  3. pau__gasol

Excited for Rob’s 5 year plan, whos with me

  4. Yep, should have never traded the whole fucking farm for AD.

  5. ___FreePalestine___

We’re never gonna be able to attract generational stars again after this LeBron stint. Everyone is gonna remember how the Lakers missed the playoffs 3 times with the LeBron fucking James on the roster after he made the finals every year straight for a goddamn decade

  6. im-a-drawl

They’re in hiding. When is the last time they showed their faces at a game?

  7. LAKESHOW03

The both of them make me not want to be a fan of this organization. I’m checked out until the team is sold. Who even knows if that will even happen.

  8. davensdad

Fuck Jeanie and Buss family that’s all I want to say. Fucking dumbasses. Fuck Jerry Buss too for being fucking selfish and trapping us with his idiot children.

    FUCK BUSS.

  9. TallanoGoldDigger

Remind me why the Hield trade was pulled back in order to go through with the Westbrook trade? Because that trade nuked all the depth and the cap space the team had.

After that they were just hoping for healthy AD and Bron to carry a bunch of vet mins.

  10. thebraavosi1

I mean we did this already with Kobe so why not with Lebron

  11. deion_snaders

Not a waste. Bron is scoring 30 nightly. I’d rather he do this and not win a title than average 12 ppg and win a title.

  12. isit65outsideor

I’m not trying to defend the front office, but LeBron chose to sign his extension without any trades happening prior. So LeBron is asking for this.

Lebron also asked for Westbrook over Buddy Hield.

  13. litlegoblinjr

Imagine having lebron and AD both playing great basketball and yet the team is only 13th in the conference. Thanks Rob

  14. BaramusAramon

Didnt lebron just wanna be in LA himself? He even extended? Lol

  15. ghoney04

It will never not be hilarious that she gave him an extension for fucking this roster up raw

  16. Quackattack218

Bron signed the extension though. Most disappointed I’ve ever been when he did that. Wish he found a front office that gave him a chance to win

  17. chemguy112

i rly still believe there’s a chance Ham gets fired first week of january. lakers will retain the defensive stuff, but i am not as confident in my d’antoni being his replacement prediction. i guess it depends on ADs health and who the lakers decide to trade. if AD gets traded i can definitely see us getting d’antoni

  18. smolsnax

Gotta thank Pelinka and Buss for running this franchise down to the ground and wasting LeBron’s final years in the league. With all due disrespect, they can both go to hell.

  19. zoltanbruh8866

meh you could also say lebron DECIDED to waste his final years in LA… like dude he’s not in his prime anymore. Sure he’s good, but this is Lebron near retirement.

  20. Don’t wanna trade picks

Don’t wanna bring back long term salary

Writings on the wall, at best they are punting the season and at worst they are blowing up this core in the summer.

  21. Wooden-Image-4332

Probably waiting for LeBron to retire so they can go after and build a team around Carmelo Anthony

  22. Initial_Welcome9052

It’s cold, but when Bron is done these guys need to keep running this business. They can’t risk dumping picks on an injury plagued season.

It’s not really anyone’s fault unless AD’s health is someone’s fault. Even Russ’ struggles had a lot to do with a lack of continuity due to injury (not saying it was a good decision to trade for him. I was confused about that trade on day 1.)

Lakes have the same problem with AD that the Clips have with Kawhi: The guy just doesn’t play enough games for the team to be a contender. Even Bron has missed a ton of games the past two years. The Bron era struggles are really more about injury than FO decisions (again, not to excuse the Russ trade).

Jeanie and Rob (and Magic?) assembled a superstar squad that brought the Lakes their 17th championship, Jeanie being the first female owner to win one. Most owners/FO’s don’t have 1 and never will. Dr. Buss would be proud, let’s put some respect on that 💯

I’m a Lakers fan not a LeBron fan. I root for him because he is our player, if we trade him I’ll root for the next guy so while I understand what it means to waste the final years of one of the best players to ever play the game, I believe the deeper problem is wasting the whole decade with an owner that has clearly a losing culture.

How many times Lakers missed the playoffs under Dr Buss guidance?

Even in the 90’s when we couldn’t manage to put together a winning product we were a playoff team playing an entertaining brand of basketball.

Since Dr Buss passed away we have a losing culture here. Don’t get me wrong, from the personal point of view it was great to have Kobe ending his outstanding career here, but the contract we gave him when he wasn’t a contributor anymore was the first sign the new ownership wasn’t about wining anymore.

This team has made the playoffs only once in 10 years (twice taking the play in into account). At first that looked to be the first real rebuilding ever, but we have fucking LeBron James still playing at a high level, we have Anthony Davis and we still can’t make the playoffs, still can’t hire an established coach, still can’t keep our players health.

Do you guys remember the Clippers before Ballmer? The team couldn’t make it work don’t matter what. This is the situation under Jeannie, we lost the winning culture, it is all about selling tickets, earning a fat TV deal and putting together a shit show.

I’m sorry about LeBron, but he doesn’t have anything to prove anymore and he is still collecting millions of dollars to play for us, he just signed another contract extension something he never did when he was younger worried about winning.

I few sorry about us Lakers fans, spending our money on tickets and merch to make Jeannie richer while we have to watch a shit show every night.

Dr Buss will always be remembered for his Showtime. His daughter reign is going to be remembered as Jeannie Shit Show.

  25. sicholasLames

Stop it. Lebron signed with this team. He extended with this team. He could request a trade if he wanted. Stop acting like lebron is a victim, it’s just too cringe for real life

  26. Richardduh

They’re going to blow up this roster and go straight to the g league for replacements

  27. CabbageStockExchange

Not just LeBron’s final years but ADs prime smfh

  28. kobestillbetter

Klutch is the one who pressured Always DNP(AD) to the Lakers in that awful trade. I bet if Covid did not happen AD would have gotten injured right before the playoffs.

  29. chaoticneutral1997

I’m prob the biggest Bron stan here and it’s WILD how no one wants to hold him accountable for being shortsighted enough to recruit WB. That trade literally destroyed the team both from a financial aspect and in chemistry. You CANNOT build a team when all you have are minimum deals to offer cos one role player is making 47 million.

  30. DaKind28

Gimme a break Lebron talked them into signing Westbrook, that’s on LeGM.

  31. DuarteN10

Who gives a shit about Lebron?
This is a lakers sub, Lebron will finish his career and we will continue to be utter trash.

How about the fact that they’re running the franchise to the gutter and traded away our future?

  32. kaidashogun

still better than the final mitch kupchak years.
