As maligned as Doc is, for rightful reasons or wrong reasons. I’ve been thinking about this moment during the win streak(and what Harden said afterwards, about being a democracy.) And in the 7 game win streak: It’s not either/or, it’s both. We need James and Joel at a high level in order to win, but we also need a democracy and other people to have touches.
During these 7 games, we’ve established our stars AND we’ve established the democracy of our basketball team.
