Time To Put Some R-E-S-P-E-C-T On The Grizzlies

In an NBA season of unprecedented parity, the league’s Western Conference is especially wide open. With no clear-cut favourite, and questions looming over every West team, you might be tempted to default to old reliables; veteran teams who you’ve seen get the job done before. But amidst all the uncertainty, it’s actually one of the league’s youngest teams that most deserves your trust, because the Memphis Grizzlies are the West’s best heading into 2023.

  1. Steven Adams is a huge liability in the playoffs. Every playoff series he is in, he gets benched.

  2. Just not their time yet, but man this team is going to he fun to watch over the next few years.

Definitely could see them be a legit contender sooner then later. But again, I just don't see it yet.

  3. The Nuggets have had the most difficult start to the season out of all of the teams, they are playing the best teams early. They will finish 1st in the west, barring an injury.

  4. Not a Grizz fan, but I hope Desmond Bane wins MIP this year. Dude looking like Jimmy Butler but with a deadly 3-pt shot.

  5. They exceed preseason expectations every year since the pivotal 2019 summer. And 6 players in their still-young rotation have been together since then: Dillon ('17), JJJ ('18), Ja, BC, Tyus, and Konchar ('19). The GM and coach also started in 2019. So patience, consistency, chemistry, and shrewd drafting have led them here.

  6. It’s funny how Bush gets referenced for the age old “fool me once” saying. It’s been in use forever, but I guess he made it meme worthy. 😂🤷

  7. Anyone not putting respect on them shouldn't be listened too. This video is basically for people 1.5 years late to the party.
