Reaction to Grizzlies-Warriors, Jordan Poole & Klay Thompson outperforming Ja Morant | Hoops Tonight

Jason Timpf reacts to Jordan Poole, Klay Thompson and the Golden State Warriors beating the Memphis Grizzlies 123-109. Jason breaks down how Ja Morant and the Grizzlies were unable to back up their trash talk and ended up floundering against a struggling Golden State Warriors squad.

  1. Wiseman had an inside presence and was switching out on JA on the perimeter and made JA turn the ball over. It is starting to look like the Warriors are playing him to his strengths.

  2. Grizzlies 3 point game is just weak:
    Last 3 losses: Thunder: 26%, Nuggets: 18%, Warriors: 23%

Points in the paint was 50 to 26. They really need to trade for a couple real wings cause these shooting droughts are gonna end a series quickly.

  3. Go DUBS!! 🥳🥳

They not only beat grizzlies but also the refs. Some of these calls were either rubbish or extremely biased, or both!! 😤😤

    Merry Christmas! 🎄🎄🥳🥳

  4. Love that the GSW's showed these 'freaking bums' what's what. 😂😂👍👏

  5. Hoping the DUBS can build on this game and get a winning streak going!! 🙏🙏

  6. Wiseman is slowly learning to play pick and roll defense 🙌🏾. This will get him some minutes. Now he needs to learn how to fight for position so he can rebound better.

  7. Warriors fans!!! We need to go on a 8 game winning streak at some point this season the west is wide open we are the first team to develop young players and win 🏆 we can get back on track Bay Area!

  8. Wise started great. Had a little mix up on offense as he always wants to go in the paint and sometimes clogs it but great effort on defense and on rebounding. Much improvement.

  9. Notwithstanding injuries, I truly believe that the GS organization (Kerr) are being so calculated in the way they're moving this year. I believe they are right where they want to be as in they let the young guys play a lot at the beginning of the season, even now, n they're still camping around .500…Not only do they have faith in those young guys but they know those minutes of experience n trial are critical (GS invested in these guys instead of trading off for big talent)…if GS goes on a winning frenzy after the All-star break then I'll know for sure what I see 👀…AN UNBEATABLE STARTING FIVE IN A SEVEN-GAME SERIES

  10. 'STRENGTH IN NUMBERS" Jaren Jackson..@@!!! LOL That's 4X Champions Golden State Warriors, NOT Memphis NEVER WON ANYTHING Grizzlies.!!!
Hold that…!!! Words of Wisdom by Klay Thompson.

  11. Poole and Klay both shot poorly in this game (a combined 6 for 22 on 3s, only 27%) yet the rest of the team shot over 50% from 3 so that was a big help. Plus the squad did a good job of crashing the boards and getting good ball movement and cutting down on the stupid lazy passes (51 boards, 31 assists and only 10 turnovers). So there are some encouraging things, especially with Curry and Wiggins out. But after yet another disastrous road trip where they continued to be noncompetitive, especially on defense, Kerr should be worried. It isn't just that they continue losing on the road, but most games they're getting badly beaten and not even making a game of it. Hopefully if they get their 2 best players back they can start showing us that they can get back to championship caliber.

  12. I just love Ja's demeanor, attitude. and so much fun to watch. Warriors polishing the diamond after some rough cuts. ✨💠

  13. The rebounding edge was huge in this game! The Dubs haven't been defending & rebounding thus far, but unfortunately have been turning the ball over at a record pace. Additionally, the Grizzlies didn't look too interested or motivated in this game, maybe that was a product of their arrogance. I don't see GS making the playoffs this season. Great win today though!

  14. I actually watched the entire game and have gone through several game analysts commenting on the game and yet, by the time I get to this, my understanding of basketball is heightened by Jason's insights. I fully expect a blowout…and it was, but not for the team I expected. In spite of the woes this season, somehow the Warriors have achieved victories over the both the Celtics and the Grizzlies. Of course the injuries have hurt the Warriors, but this may turn out to be a blessing in disguise as the young bench gets valuable playing time. They were the difference tonight.

  15. the refs were also just bad this game for both teams thats another thing u kinda gotta give the griz

  16. What's the psychology behind why the Warriors can't win on the road but does great at home?

  17. Don't get me wrong I like Ja Morant but he is a trash talker and he babbles on nonsense and I'm glad that the warriors took care of him on that Court lmao 😜 so Merry Christmas to the poole party ⭐and No nonsense⭐ Klay Thompson 🥰🥰🥰🥰😎💪😡😂 that's what they get talking about yeah I'll see you Christmas Day they came they got hooked and now they have egg on their face especially ja Morant took a big L period.

  18. Dummy really said the best players aren’t affected by trash talk😂 it motivates some of the greats foo. Plus you keep on looking right. How about invest in a teleprompter or a bigger screen to place behind your camera😂

  19. FACT'S GRIZZLIES will never beat The WARRIORS !!!!!! . .🤷🏽‍♀️😂😂😂🤫🤫🤫
