Why would the Hawks trade Trae? If you take a deep look at the stats he’s the only young PG who is anywhere close to Luka.
Any team would be lucky to draft a guy as good Trae once a decade. You replace the pieces around him, not him. They’d be idiots to let him go.

Seems I’m in the minority in being all for it (even though I doubt it happens) but imo the D already is lackluster this year so let’s just lean in to having a balls to the wall offense. I mean they figured out the Defense last year with Brunson in the playoffs and he’s also not a great defender. I honestly think the defense looks worse than it is because the Mavs offense goes ice cold way too often and then the D suffers by not being able to get set. Think Trae would help that a ton. He can space the floor and create for himself. Question is would he be willing to buy in to playing off the ball?
