Explain: in-depth look at James Wiseman from the Warriors shocking Xmas upset of Grizzlies

by @EricApricot

The Golden State Warriors pulled off a huge upset of the conference-leading Memphis Grizzlies on 2022.12.25.MEM-GSW, and in the middle of the game-deciding run was ill-starred James Wiseman.

Co-starring Ty Jerome, Jonathan Kuminga, Moses Moody and Jordan Poole. With Ja Morant, Jaren Jackson Jr, Brandon Clarke, John Konchar, Ziaire Williams, and Tyus Jones.

  1. Merry belated Christmas everyone what a great needed win. Hopefully going forward we can see more of these breakdown videos being we only get them on wins. The warriors bench really stepped up it was great to see.

  2. Feel sorry for this second pick not allowed to shine in GSW. He’s doing all what Kerr asking still not getting minutes. He stop Ha from getting 40 point smfh.

  3. Needs a team that plays a simpler form of basketball. We needa center who plays d passes and rim protects

  4. Thank you!!! I have been waiting for a Wiseman breakdown since last night, so fortunate that you of all people decided to make one! The best!

  5. I thought he played very well this game. The mistakes he committed and pointed out in this vid were mistakes that even veterans will commit so I think overall this is his best NBA games.

  6. This is the type of stuff we need to see from wiseman, I’m sure the gsw coaching staff going to be showing him the tape this week. Keep it up big fella, keep working on the defensive end and you’ll be rewarded for it on the other end

  7. Im a grizz fan and brandon clarke is a terrible screener, too concerned with the lob but leaves morant open to get hammered

  8. _ James Wiseman has done great last night . . . . . he obviously Improving . . . . . . . Good Job ! James 👋👋👋

  9. Celebration counter-point: that’s Steph’s injured arm and I wouldn’t want to be slapping hands with it.

  10. At 3:30 I swear apricot was going to say something about Wiseman shape shifting into Klay Thompson to shoot the free throws

  11. Really glad you did the review on wiseman of all people because his defense actually jumped out of the game more than 2 way players hitting lucky shots

  12. I wonder how Wiseman's development is going to look given how little college and NBA ball he's played. It definitely ate into his potential, but he's not discouraged to learn so I like that.

  13. Wiseman did very well but Kerr is so anti big man and pull him out so he won’t get any of the credit. We don’t look too small when wiseman is in there and we don’t need to double so much

  14. If wiseman keeps this up they’ll start feeding him in transition when he gets blocks and rebounds! I wish they had given some last night but they will with time

  15. He would have scored had they passed him the ball A number of times he called for it!! Those knuckleheads didn't pass him the ball to score! Whose idea was that that, that he's just a rim protector?? He can score with his shot! And he can drive in!! Stop the nonsense GOLDEN STATE!! You get the bigs involved first, because the rest can create their shots if they practice doing so. Golden State wake up!!! Dont freeze your CENTER out FROM SCORING!!!! Get them to feel they are part of party too!!! Case Closed!!! Earl of El Barrio,NYC,NY. 12/26/22

  16. Well it's comes to giving them mins and they are only getting it by default Curry and Wiggins out. Shit James should have played more mins. I really don't understand Kerr

  17. I liked how wiseman focused on defending and rebounding. We need him to do just that. He's going to be a problem really soon. Anyone that wants him traded are crazy and don't know his value.

  18. Morant is the most obvious carrier of the ball. Dude catches the ball each dribble. The refs are clowns and selective on all calls.

  19. Thanks for the deep dive into JW's play. Poor Steph was left hanging…Lol!!
