Shams mentions that these talks happened in the last month and that the deal was Beasley and Vando to the Suns, Collins to Utah, and Crowder plus other players to Atlanta. It seems like talks could pick up again before the deadline.
I think John Collins was on the trade block before COVID hit.

I don’t know anything about Collins, but Vando seems to have a massive upside and Beasley could turn into JC with perennial 6MOY challenges. Seems like franchises are lucky to have players turn into guys like this, let along players better than them. Unless we’d be getting lottery picks or more FRPs than net players going out, it feels like a weird deal.
Also, I don’t know anything about John Collins. Is he good and could he be positive in the locker room or nah?
Seems like Atlanta and Phoenix have zero leverage here. Every team would like to have V&B. Atlanta has been shopping this guy for a long time. Phoenix….everyone knows your guy requested a trade. It’s going to take multiple frp
