Best odds to land Trae Young if the Hawks trade him: 1. Dallas Mavericks 2. Miami Heat 3. Boston Celtics 4. Denver Nuggets / LA Lakers 6. San Antonio Spurs 7. New Orleans Pelicans 8. LA Clippers 9. Portland Trailblazers / Utah Jazz (Via @betonline_ag )

I can’t think of a worse culture fit besides maybe Ben Simmons and Kyrie.

  2. Blah blah blah blah bad culture fit blah blah blah. This team needs more **undrafted free agents**. They have CULTURE!!!!! Not the young All-NBA point guard putting up a 26/9 in his career

  3. Anytime there is a big trade rumour or free agent, we randomly get placed like 2 or 3 regardless of context

Idk why people hate the idea. We need scoring in the playoffs like a mfer and he wouldn’t be the only threat like he is in Atlanta. Him & Jimmy could both dominate. Then it would be up to Bam & Herro to prove they can as well. Obviously I’d rather a PF that can score like him, but Trae is generational offensively.

Depending the price, I’d be elated with getting him at PG over Lowry.

Can you imagine him at Dallas butting heads with Luka?

Fun fact: the least likely team to get Trae in a trade is the Hawks

I’d take him over Herro since I imagine thats who would have to go. He has a LOT to work on but he is a proven 1 man offensive engine. Put that next to Jimmy/Bam…. hmmmmm

  8. Dallas makes no sense, you would have 2 guards on that won’t/ can’t defend.

  9. Yeah because we need more poor defenders on this team and I’m sure they’d trade him for Uncan or Max and a FRP, not for Herro or Bam.

I mean… I hate Trae, but this would be a W for sure. Also, I don’t know why people are saying he wouldn’t fit in with the culture? He’s got attitude and a big F YOU personality. He doesn’t necessarily seem lazy (coach relationship issues aside). I would NOT want Kyrie, but I think Trae in contrast is talented enough and enough of a fit to just tip the scales as a Heat guy

He seems to fit in with our team concept. Play shooters who can’t defend, but also turn out to be not able to shoot

Bro how would we ever make this trade? Lol
