J.B. Bickerstaff says the Cavs showed they are capable of competing with teams like Brooklyn

J.B. Bickerstaff reflects on Evan Mobley’s defense on Kevin Durant, saying that the second-year forward did a good job staying in front of him. The head coach goes on to compliment Darius Garland’s performance, saying that he can compete with anybody in the NBA.

  1. I'm losing my patience with this coach. His offensive system is NON EXISTENT. Team plays way TOO SLOW. Again, has the two biggest players on the court and NEVER USES THEM in the post. His non-existent offense is being saved by talent going one on one. I'm starting to believe JB is in over his head. This team is now too talented for a coach who struggles to figure out how to create a system that maximizes both dynamic duos simultaneously on the offensive end of the floor.

  2. We should be playing through our bigs. Kevin Durant can't beat you when he's busy defending and fouling an aggressive Allen, but he didn't have to defend Allen because Allen only took 5 shots. Allen was an All Star last year, but only gets 5 shots, really?

  3. Mobley is purported to be a "unicorn", top 3 pick in the draft, and he gets 11 shots (3 were from the 3 point line). What is this coach doing?

  4. Cavs play too slow. The comeback came in the 4th quarter when the game was sped up due to playing with desperation. Cavs starters are 21, 21, 23, 25, 26 and we have the slowest pace in the league. We are not good at playing in the half court. We're young, why not run more? Cavs play too slow… We have a coaching problem…

  5. Really annoying how the raptors shot 51% making 19 3s and the nets shot 60% making 18 3s against the cavs. Guys should be better contesting at the line. This is a 3 point shooting league. You wont survive if opponents make that amount of 3s

  6. They should have evan mobley bring the ball up and dominate ball like a lebron james would or a nikola jokic would…i think theyre misusing mobley…because of the lack of rubio and the addition of donovan mitchell…i think the would open up our offense to the next level…bench as well
