Why Nikola Jokic Is TRULY One of a Kind

Why Nikola Jokic Is TRULY One of a Kind

Introducing the reigning two-time MVP of the NBA, Nikola Jokic. After making history last year when he won back-to-back NBA MVP awards, many are doubting the chances of him winning the honor again this year. However, I am here to show you why you should not doubt Nikola Jokic! The NBA has seen some incredible players in its history, but none quite like the Joker. His combination of scoring, rebounding, and passing makes him an MVP candidate every year. He has put up impressive numbers and consistently demonstrated his outstanding court vision. His passing ability, in particular, is what truly sets him apart from the competition. That’s why, today, I am here to tell you why Nikola Jokic is on track for a three-peat and why we will never see another player like him ever again!

  1. Right now Jokic is running away with it. A ring would put him on that rare level.

  2. first time he got some shooter In kcp and Murray and porter. But I think there is no real co star in Denver, they must bring some big name, because they will lose that player and they won't win ring. By losing him I don't mean that he will go somewhere, but he will lose years, maybe the greatest years of his career

  3. "Maybe talk about him with the greatest centers?"
Did you really just say that??
The man is just simply amazing.!!!
    Maybe……
    Give me a break

  4. I hope this team can stay healthy and make it to at least the conference finals this year. this man is playing amazing and deserves more playoff time

  5. Just check last week's Player of the Week.
    Luka (player of the week) 31.5pts 8reb 9as 3w-1L
Nikola (not player of the week) 31pts 16reb 12as 4w-0L

  6. better than Sabonis from 3, he's got the Kevin McHale footwork package, he's better than the Gasol bros as a passing big man and he's got Larry Bird's see the play before it happens as a passing big. He's a Frankenstein's monster of a handful of the best 6'10" or bigger guys that have ever played. And yes, I chose examples of other players that weren't considered "athletic".

  7. I love the video but the whole "how does he do it?" like it's some mysterious incomprehensible thing is a drag. He's got superior hands, and timing.

Magic, Bird, Jokic, Kidd – best passers in my lifetime.

  8. The only thing that is averting people from liking Jokic is that he does not represent enough authority (yet) to redesign the league as he is doing right now

  9. Please, don't say, "We will never see another player like him". Time has a knack for making us look like imbeciles.

That said, as a Nuggets fan I've watched him play hundreds of times and he's BY FAR the most improved player I've ever seen. His passing was atrocious when he started out. So much so that his errant passing actually killed games for the team during his first couple of seasons.

He's obviously worked very hard on his passing skills to the point that he's already in the same conversation as Magic, Nash, Kidd, Stockton et al. That's elite company, and he's not even a point guard.

But the Joker does have one glaring weakness, and that's his defense. People will talk about how he's improved. Sure, he's gotten better, but he's still too slow to cover smaller players off picks.

While he may very well end up as the most offensively skilled center to ever play, he will certainly not be talked about because of his prowess on both ends of the court.

  10. There was a center back in the day that might have been as good as Jokic but he wasn't allowed to play in the NBA in his prime. His name was Arvydas Sabonis. Probably not as good as Jokic but a great passing center.

  11. a dunk is a fun thing to watch if its a Dr J / Air Jordan moment, but Id really like a lot of these type passes, which are far harder to do well….😀

  12. Stick to jokic videos and you channel will explode serbian fans we are what some will call a retard with supporting our nation qnd our people

  13. Saying Jokic is not in shape is disingenuous, he is a professional athlete playing 35 mins a game in the NBA. He is just not as in shape as other top players.

  14. After Nikola jokic ends his career, which I hoepe will be in at least 1 decade, then there will be no good reason why the MVP trophy shouldn’t be renamed to “Nikola Jokic trophy”.

  15. It’s so sad that elite stars are not lining up to team up with this man…
Curry, Durant, Giannis, Luka, Tatum, Mitchell, James, Morant, Trae, Booker, DeRozan, Zion, George, etc etc
Are none of you in this game to win a Championship? Cmon now! One of you has gotta swallow your pride, take the pay cut and enjoy the glory it will bring you.
Just imagine any one of those guys with The Joker. It’s basically a guaranteed trip to the Western Conference Finals.

  16. One, being third in the MVP ladder is not ignoring Jokic, and second, he wont win 3 in a row because of many reasons, but mostly because he has no rings. A generational talent though

  17. 5:03 Yes I have, MAGIC JOHNSON 😊. I was playing basketball in the 80s and the 90s and as I played as a Point Guard who naturally is the brain of the team and needs a high player IQ, Magic was always my role model in terms of play style. I copied some of his moves on the court, he had the sickest no look passes ever and he was handling them regularly. When later MJ (Michael Jordan) got his shine, Magic was still my #1 player. In my eyes he was definitely a player with a higher IQ than MJ, he had a better view on the court and he undoubtedly was the better assistant, but Jordan was simply more skilled overall and the better shooter, so no wonder he was a SG instead of a PG.

Coming to Jokić, who's my countryman 😊, he simply has THE VIEW for the court and his players, and that's what I always been saying since decades:

_ HAVING AN EYE ON THE COURT IS HALF THE BATTLE _

  18. So far as passing goes,Larry Bird was better. He was also a better 3 point shooter. Overall Larry Bird was a better player.
