  1. loving Melton man. He was everything we needed, shooting, dribbling, creating, defense and hustle. Hope he stays in Philly for a while but he’s got a fan in me until he retires. Joins Shamet, Fultz, Shamet, Drummond, Curry and DH12.

  2. Bro Melton is so strong when watching these highlights. he might be 6’2 but he plays like he’s 6’6

  3. Came just in time for another solid performance in national TV. Salute to the man.

  4. He suits this team as a starter especially when Harden and Embiid is on the court to support defense and the shortcomings of Harden defense. If Docs put Maxey in the court, I can say yes the offense is good, but actually only Harden and Embiid offense are enough. Maxey needs the ball but his assists are not better than Harden. Putting Maxey in the bench and using his speed will truly terrible for the bench as those starter are tired to run and it can maximum the team. Starting Maxey as he is too short for defense and also it does not require him to offense so much.

  5. I think when Maxey comes back we should still keep Melton starting and have Maxey lead the bench. Melton brings 3&D, and still able to create his own shot. Maxey is amazing and an offensive threat but lacks the defense neccessary to compliment the line up.

  6. I wouldn’t be mad if maxey ran the second unit 6 man like Lou williams was for so many years

  7. loved the deal went it went down. dude plays much bigger than his size due to length and athleticism. you can run a 3 guard lineup with him out there. his shot is streaky and needs quicker decisions with the ball, but that's why you picked him up for just a mid 1st round pick.
