Robert Williams Willing to Come off Celtics Bench | Celtics vs Rockets

BOSTON, MA — Boston Celtics center Robert Williams was interviewed following the Celtics 126-102 win over the Houston Rockets on Tuesday night. The win was Boston’s third straight, and the team will take their win streak into a matchup with the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday. After a last minute announcement, Joe Mazzulla was ruled out for the game with eye irritation.

Robert Williams said to the media that he would be willing to come off the bench for the Celtics. Williams only recently returned to the time after offseason knee surgery, his second surgery in the past year following a torn meniscus.

  1. Time lord is such an important part of this team. I am glad he’s back and healthy because we need him

  2. Coming off the bench, doesn’t mean that he won’t be able to close games. People whine about everything. Rob had a great game tonight !

  3. It’s great to see all the guys comfortable and accepting with their roles, they all focused on one goal.
