  1. I think the success that the Boston Celtics have had under Joe Mazzulla thus far has ensured he will be made the permanent head coach of the Boston Celtics. Regarding Ime Udoka, I do not believe that the Boston Celtics management ever had the intention of his return to coaching the team once the season long suspension had elapsed. I think an ulterior motive/secondary effect of the suspension along with a salary reduction was to prevent other teams from going after him. Keep in mind that the Celtic's only have a level of professional control over Ime Udoka as long as he is employed by them. If he were to quit, which would end any contact settlement negotiations, he would be a free agent able to go to any team of his choosing.

  2. The game of chess is like a sword fight you must thing first before you move hmmmmm is like buying a new car and you can always go back to the old car if the new one starts giving problems lol

  3. The Nets with Kyrie were having to much Drama at that time to add in the mix coach Udoka to that would be to much negativity publicity going on…

  4. White privilege at its finest. Ime received a public lynching. We don’t even know who the women are nor their husbands, who work in management. I work in HR. Those in the highest position of authority are the 1st to go. Last time I checked Ime was the coach, who answers to management. How dare he smash 2 white women from Boston of all places.

  5. He deserves what he got. Should've used better judgement . Sacrificed his whole career and good name over some foolishness .

  6. Charles is still hung up on this. Matt Barnes knows the real story and did a 180 when he heard the news.

  7. I was at 7uices (AKA Jaylen browns) store / xmas party last week on the 24th after they worked over the wolves. He said this.. 1. Relax the reason were .500 over last 10 games is they are trying new things and getting more players involved not a big deal. 2. He believes Joe is a better coach than Ime. He chatted on for about 20 mins truly a great and humble guy. Now, maybe he said the current coach they have now is better than Ime only because he's there Idk? Why would he say that if he didn't mean it? There was no major press or cameras around… But honestly I don't think it takes rocket science to coach these guys and I can assure you Ime is gone after the season. His salary is pocket change for theses billionaire owners and they would rather him sit in the corner than let him go help they enemy…They cut half or more of his pay and the Joe isn't getting head coach money… Also Imu can quit any day he wants, but he won't because a job is not guaranteed he's gonna collect is money and he's hoping for the best. The Cs are gonna get a cheaper coach for the rest of the year that is just as good if not better…

  8. If I were the Celtics brass, I would keep them both. Mazzula would finish out this season to see how close he can get to the finals and then have them (Mazzula and Udoka) team up again and run roughshod through the league in coming years.
Of course, I would give Mazzula a better incentive or contract to stay though.

  9. Udoka needs to move on. I don't particularly care for the way that Boston handled the situation in making things public, but the bottom line is the coach and whoever else he was involved with chose to do something that hurt a lot of people. How that lady still has her job is beyond me. But I guess the celtics would say we're still paying you Udoka😬. What a mess. And very selfish.

  10. i am SO glad they pointed out that they were two consenting adults who engaged in that interaction. unlike some people who were dragging ime udoka's name like he did something horrible. "malika andrews" 🤨

  11. I understand not wanting to commit to him yet. Remember when Luke Walton was looking like the next great head coach when he was intrumming for the warriors? The Celtics are still using Ime’s system from last season, so we have no idea what a Joe Mazola coached team would look like, although he still should be commended for keeping the Celtics on track.

  12. Celtics not going to bring him back. Going to use him as leverage to trade for team looking for a new head coach and get picks in return

  13. Putting Mazulla as full on head coach means demoting or firing Udoka as head coach which will backfire in a huge way if Udoka ends up winning the fight for his SUSPENSION he's tied to. Celtics might as well have just fired him in September but they didn't and this is because they know they can't fire him with this Breach of ethics rules vs the coaches association Bargaining agreement.

My bet is even the Celtics know that their code of ethics rules have very little power and should Udoka decide to make a legal fight, he might lose his reputation(and Nia Long), but the Celtics would lose a lot if we all get to hear how far it went and how their littlle power their team code of ethics is against labor and bargaining agreement laws.

  14. I agree with you Charles. The Celtics needs stability. They deserve it and Mazullo should be the head coach. If they bring back Udoka, he's got to behave, and keep it all professional. Then Ime has some explaining to do with the team, and get things settled.

However, I think Mazullo should be head coach. No need to bring chaos back. Players have suffered enough.

  15. Wht would Boston remove the interior. Tag from Missoula? To do so would mean firing Udoka now. That would be problematic for Boston.

  16. Good point but why is the other lady not involved or called out by mainstream media.

  17. They gonna ride out the suspension and bring Ime back depending on results without him, I said that day 1 I still believe that is their plan!

  18. Lol I love the channel but come on Charles! I see you only like to cover the drama in regards to the Celtics and not their overall successful season thus far.

  19. Ime Udoka will probably have to wait until the end of the season. Before he gets an offer from a team, that fired a coach. I doubt he will go back to the Celtics. If the Celtics go deep in the playoffs. Ime may have to accept a rinky dink team. Teams can pay off contracts for non fulfilled contracts. It's done every time a coach is fired. Get paid and bye bye.

  20. Pretty sure David Blatt took the Cavs to the Finals as a rookie coach in 2014. They'll have to pay Udoka his contract if he resigns, and increase Mazzulla's contract pay in the interim tag is removed. It's about money.

  21. This whole thing is a messy situation. If I had any sort of power at an organization & some dude banged my wife, I'd make sure he'd be gone. This isn't about him or her, it's about respecting someone's marriage. In the military if you get caught with one of your brother's wives, you either get demoted or kicked out.

  22. If whatever he did was so bad, why he not in jail? They wanted to embarrass this man to appease the husband of the willingly cheating wife. Had he been white, we would’ve never known about this situation

  23. Despite the offence they are still playing under a Udoka system. The offence is ramped becuase Tatum and Brown realized they could have been stronger in the finals and they let it slip away is all. If they win, all I have to say is Mark Jackson>Steve Kerr. When it's time for birth, it's just time. Can't believe you are jumping on the sellout Udoka bandwagon because a man made some human mistakes consensually.
