there was like 2 things with bones/malone. the action started late, and while it worked out, you could not take advantage of Jokic's play making with the shot clock being so low. also, in the third, he got trapped in the corner, called a time out, nuggets turn the ball over after the time out leading to a fast break points. then the nuggets were struggling with time outs to stop momentum. he played well, but dude seems to be more of a shooting guard than a point guard. he can catch and shoot on an elite level.

Generally, players did OK. Even though the defense was no existing in the 4th, I just think that with few late game adjustments Denver could have won it. If Fox and Monk are going for 60, why keeping Braun out when he was the best perimeter defender. Challenge, no need to talk about that, it would be useful for the last play. MPJ, non factor in the 4th, not a single action for him, except one unsuccessful drive, …he shot the ball pretty well up to that point.
Takeaway: Christian braun is consistently good on defence and always make the right reads to help the team. Malone need to seriously use him more. Mpj is too inconsistent and many lingering health issues, we should really explore the trade market for him. At this point, the most impt thing is for players to be consistently doing their job around jokic who is the epitome of consistency in every sense of the word..
