Should the Sixers move Tyrese Maxey or De’Anthony Melton to the bench?
Y'all know that you can still stagger lineups with Maxey as a starter. I actually feel that Maxey is best when he has a point guard on the floor with him. So he should play alongside harden or Shake. I can see a three guard lineup being a good option at times with Melton, Maxey, Harden, and Tobi and Embiid.
I don’t think you disrespect him by benching him. But I think they should be staggered better.
Time for us to start another winning streak, I'm so pumped to finally start integrating Maxey back into the mix. I wonder if Embiid will play on Friday, he took a hard fall on his hip against the wiz

Maxey shot great off catch and shoot. So I’d be down with Toby back at the 4. Toby and Melton at the corners and Maxey at wing

Yes bring Maxey off the bench. He will easily be 6th man of the year. He is young. He has his entire career to be a starter. For now whats best for the team and his career is to come off the bench
Maxey is a good problem to have doc rivers is a bad problem to have and that is the issue doc doesn't know what he is doing with the lineups
I said this ages ago, With stars as ball dominant as embiid and harden everyone else has to be a good defender because that’s what they’ll be doing most of the time, our bench isn’t very good either but Maxey and Matisse provides elite scoring and scoring off the bench, and can plug them into the 1st unit at times
Maxey off the bench momentarily 2 maybe 3 games tops.
Man this team is so disappointing. I agree the team played bad but how do we lose to the wizards. This team is not going to get past the second round as presently constructed.
If anything pj should come off the bench…you was already staggering maxey and harden which is why he avg 23 pts per

Guys let maxi slowly get back into the game…after a while He will be put in as a fifth…like a new car..drive it 55mph..for a certain AMT of time and then hit the gas…

Maxey will be on a minutes restriction to start off. Doc said he will likely come off the bench. If it works out, have Maxey come off the bench.
If it will make the Sixers stop using him as Seth Curry then I’m all for it
No!!! He's our jump starter. They tin to start slow. We need him in at the start.
I think a competent coach/gm shouldn't have to bench such a talented, hard working young player to balance out the lineup, but I guess that's not us. Maxey is so much better than the Clarksons/Heros of the world. Holding him back would be a shame. Bench PJ for Matisse and then you just have the starting lineup we often used at the end of last regular season. That lineup was fine. If Matisse still can't develop enough of a shot to prevent 4 on 5s in the playoffs, a trade should be made before the deadline for a 3 and d small forward with athleticism.
