People keep saying we are a young team and I get that inconsistency comes with young teams…. But not like this the energy and effort isn’t there.
And I hope a fire has lit under Paolo you surpass your idols you made it to their level…. I expect to see a iverson jordan moment next time Paolo meets Lebron. Till Paolo learns how to deal with double teams and he gets players to cut more so he can hit them it’ll only get harder for him.
i dont even have alot to say this time around, that pistons game was painful to watch
Happy New Years Gents!!!!
And I agree about your Bol take Luke it’s what I been saying he can dribble for a big man BUT he can’t dribble in traffic and he tries todo too much.
The title 😂
And I get Mo shove wasn’t good BUT you don’t punch a man in the back of their head there is a reason why it’s not allowed in boxing you can kill someone like that… it was spineless and next time he needs to square up if you want to fight….. sorry I’m blowing up the comments😂
I laughed as soon as I saw the title to today’s episode😂😭
Honestly FG% Hides mistakes and exposes weaknesses, depending on its direction. It affects energy, psyche. It causes frustration and negativity.
I want to see sneak plays for Franz off ball cuts paired with the off ball to PnR on ball screen plays we already run with him. I want to see more of those corner plays Mo Wagner and Bol run but with Franz/Paolo. Let's start utilizing creative plays that put the ball in Bols hands when he's within 5-10ft of the hoop. Why not run Bol off those pick and rolls as the main guy? Give him confidence to have the keys on a set plays that keeps the ball high and out of traffic. Why do we default to iso plays for Paolo at the corner when the defense is loaded to stop it which forces a bad shot? (Yes he's been making them but when he doesn't we keep defaulting.)
Great take by Luke on Paolo. Spot on. Players need to meet to remember who they are.
I like bol bol just as much as the next magic fan but his defense against Detroit was terrible. It caused a mental lapse with him it seemed and he started messing up simple stuff like dribbling down the court. He was looking at his teammates like dang yall I messed up. He just gotta keep his head in the game. His blocks have fallen back and it seems to be a mental thing now that everyone has caught on that he's capable. He just needs to realize, just because they caught on to what you're doing…it doesn't mean that can stop it
After seeing these last couple games, my fear about Paolo has been realized. When he isn't getting to the line, his production diminishes significantly. Even Mosley was like "let's give Paolo the free throws for the technical" knowing he isn't the best at em
