[Ganguli] Timberwolves gave the Jazz four draft picks, four players and the right to swap picks in 2026. “The average fan might not understand what I bring to the table,” Gobert said, “but the G.M.s in the league do.”

where did the 7 draft picks people keep referencing come from?

isn’t it just 5 picks? (if you count pick swaps)

  2. Mistake, a giant one for a new ownership group.

if dlo wasn’t cooked the wolves would look spooky

If he is no longer the defender he was with the jazz.. this might rival the KG pierce trade the nets made

  5. Only one GM does Rudy and you are playing for him.

I immediately thought of the Zach Lowe podcast where he stated he couldn’t find one person who in the nba who defended what the timberwolves did in this trade.

BI and Zion both have their career high scoring games against Gobert

Yeah, this is gonna go down as one of the worst trades of all time.

Needs an NBA level coach before being judged. Dude was used to a defensive system with structure in Utah and now plays with utter trash on defense all across the roster. Only way this trade ever looks decent is if they fire Finch for someone who can actually coach

This guy singlehandedly torpedoed players’ trade values and even shut the league down that one time. Fuck this guy.

  11. Rudy was great for the Jazz. With that contract I don’t understand why the Timberwolves gave up so much, but I am greatful.

I haven’t watched Minnesota at all this year so I have no real opinion on his play this year.

big brain Gobert. if only the blood going to his head could go to his hands so he can catch a pass

rookie Walker Kesser is averaging nearly double the blocks of Gobert in half the minutes.

To be fair you have to have a very high intelligence to understand Rudy Gobert…

If Minnesota doesn’t even get one year of prime Rudy, maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan. Fire everyone now and start it all up again. There’s no point in not.

So crazy Minnesota finally had a good season with a young team and potential, and with one trade that’s all over

Keep shitting on this trade, the front office needs to be held accountable for how horrible it was then and is now.

They do understand, understand that they paid wayy too much for your useless ass.

I think this is all getting a bit overboard to me. Lets check in later before we close the book.

Timberwolves fans I feel your pain. It’s annoying being reminded of the blunder everyday on this sub. We nets fan had to go through it with the kg pp trade and will eventually have to face the realities of the Harden trade.

One of those things definitely isn’t wins cause the Timberwolves the same if not worse with Gobert
