  1. Warriors fans are polarized by Draymond because as soon as he won over everyone, he does something really stupid. Need I list exampl;es?

  2. Agree that people overlook how much Draymond's defense contributes to winning. His defense is acknowledged, but on lower terms to an offensive scorer. If you prevent an opponent from scoring or you score yourself it contributes the same thing to the point differential. Except that after scoring the opponent is guaranteed possession of the ball. That's not the case if you successfully stop an opponent's shot though. You can prevent the opposing points (same contribution as scoring for your own team) and gain possession of the ball. That gives the potential for twice the scoring differential than an offense only player who only makes a difference to the point differential only during their team's ball possession. Of course on the flip side he needs strong offensive players to complement him, but his contribution is massive. It's just not as easy to see on a stat sheet.

  3. the only people who dont value draymond are the casuals who just watch a couple highlights or just check google for box scores

  4. Draymond is the man. He cost us a championship, but he contributed to 4. The dubs need him… better him him up $$$

  5. He is who we thought he is lads!

A fucking Hall of famer that the warriors will desperately miss next season when he leaves until then he is def taken for granted

  6. Steph’s Injury Was Definitely A Blessing In Disguise… It’s Giving The Young Guys A Chance To Get Real Mins & Gain Rhythm/Confidence, Some Shit That’ll Pay Off Big Time Come Postseason

& It Was Absolute Perfect Timing… Happened When They Got A 8 Game Home-Stand Against Weaker Competition

  7. I like your breakdowns but literally every time I watch a video you make some kind of small mistake, it’s not a big deal, just something I noticed, calling Jordan Clarkson Deangelo, saying teams loss games they won, etc etc

  8. People complaining about Draymond not scoring points is like complaining about how a runningback didn't have enough catches. That's not how he plays offense, it's not his goal nor should it be.

  9. Love the way you explain the game, Jason. You've helped me understand the game at a much higher level than I ever used to.

  10. I agree with most of what you said but…Draymond f's up too much by arguing with the officials about foul calls. He was the guy who's still complaining while tge opposing team is playing 5 on 4 and scoring. That really hurt the Dubs on the road. It's very frustrating as someone who sees his value wasted because he can't have the patience to wait for a stoppage of play to make his concerns known. That being said, there is one officiating crew and one particular official who seems to have it in for the warriors and Draymond in particular. I have to believe he's helped create that situation. That has hurt the Dubs not only this year but in the past. If the officials have it in for you, it hurts the team. Dray's value would be so much higher if he could pick his time and way to complain much better. Emotion is great. Controlling when you use it is defining.

  11. When Steph and Wiggs come back Poole will have to be able to cook off the bench. He has problems in the bench role. Im not getting too excited yet but these are nice wins. When do Jerome and Dvincenzo turn back into pumpkins ?

  12. Draymond IS the center of the wheel that is the Warriors – when my family asked what jersey I wanted as a gift years ago I said 'gimme 23' he got flaws, personally, but that man is pure gold on the floor – what does good offense need?: good ass defense – – that's the silver bullet – the warriors have the ultimate yin and yang in Curry and Green.

  13. I would say Dray and JK defense. JK has taken over than role for hardest on ball assignments. Wiggins going down basically gave him his opportunity to develop.

  14. Jason: "Draymond is polarizing for some reason". Let's explore this "polarization" from the perspectives of both Warrior fans and fans of other teams:
    1) He is mostly a terrible outside shooter.
    2) He cost the Warriors a championship in 2016.
    3) He was not good overall in the finals vs Boston.
    4) He constantly whines to the refs and never gets a technical foul (more than any other player in the NBA).
    5) He is constantly doing illegal screens like an NFL offensive lineman but the refs don't call it.
    6) He fouls ALOT but the refs swallow the whistle (especially when Draymond is already carrying 5 fouls).
    7) He kicks opposing players in the nuts.
    8) He punched his own teammate Jordan Poole in the face.
    9) He follows LeBron James around like a bit$h and obviously wants to play for the Lakers next season.

  15. Everyone blamed the young guys early but is anyone missing J. Green right now? That's why you stick with developing your talent.

  16. Thank you Jason for the analysis. Only casuals fans and haters don't really see the value of Draymond. Real Warriors fans know what is the value that he brings.

  17. The issue is he is playing like this because it’s a contract year. What will his defense prowess be once he secure the bag. I still don’t feel comfortable about the dubs giving him a max. But hey it’s up to the front office. Let’s also not forget his age and his declining health once they give him the bag. He will fall off 🤷🏽‍♂️

  18. I don’t think that there has been a team with that much fire power speed and wits about them in terms of talent. Look out for the repeat GS

  19. Guys that played way bigger than their actual size on the offensive end, Charles Barkley and Adrian Dantley. Guys that play way bigger than their actual size on the defensive end Draymond PJ Tucker but Tucker doesn't block guys at the rim.

  20. Draymond is such an unlikeable person, it’s almost impressive.

  21. Sometimes I doubt his defense, but I am always thinking he maybe preserving his defense in very crucial time especially landing in the playoff.

  22. Draymond was pivotal for the win last night no doubt, but I think something happened last night, and maybe in the last 2-3 games, that not many people are noticing that I think could be huge for Golden State going forward. I'm talking about Patrick Baldwin Jr. That kid looks NBA ready right now. I think they may have struck gold with him and I don't think many people are seeing that just yet.
