No predictions and no idea what to expect with this team. It kind of makes for an exciting season. Every NBA team has bad losses especially on the road. I honestly don't think it's that big a deal. I guess we'll see.
I was just busting your chops a little bit with your .500 prediction. I most likely didn't think this team would be over .500 again based on schedule and before that Boston and Miami games on the road. I think this team has a legit Shot of winning tonight's game. I think Tyrese is every bit as good as Trae Young. Not sure I thought that before this season started.

What I saw was too many layups and overall points in the paint given up. We have to upgrade our front court to contest this and get rebounding. Butter, our centers are too soft and our forwards are too small. We will never be contenders with a Myles Turner as our interior anchor. Extend him and enjoy the suck.

Carlisle should’ve got himself kicked out the 1st qtr & let Lloyd & Jenny coach—his herky-jerky subbing patterns out of desperation were not good for any of the players—the way he disrespects Smith, Jackson & Goga is downright pathetic—impossible to get into a rhythm whenever your pushed & pulled every other minute of playing time—it’s funny how much more patience he has with our beyond pathetic perimeter players on defense than the big guys. So let’s continue playing two point guards & four guards total at all times no matter how much they’re sucking with their perimeter defense—with those idiotic lineups we’re going to be out rebounded by every team that plays two seven footers against Myles & four guards! Lastly, let’s pull Tyrese when we go to a two big man lineup bc he only makes them all look better whenever he plays with any of them???
Honestly if they keep using mathurin they way they are i think he will continue to regress throughout the season, its actually ridiculous how little he is used, if he keeps having to play with duarte and hield he will never improve, they are too ball dominant, but its not really their faults, for some reason they have ball screen after ball screen set for them, just to have them go into a tough iso shot, while Mathurin sits in the corner looking so disengage, then when he finally does get the ball he's too timid to do anything with it, id much rather have mathurin doing the iso plays, and drawing fouls, and making plays for others, and stick duarte and hield in the corners and let then be spot up shooters, very rarely when mathurin attacks the bucket do bad things happen, most of the time he scores or draws a fouls, or atleast gets a good look, and sometimes makes good passes to find the open man, but when duarte drives it always turns into a tough fading shot than never goes in, hield can actually iso pretty well, but he gives up more points then he scores, and id rather see mathurin get those touches and looks. Also, our best rookie only getting 22 mins last night in a 20 point blowout is ridiculous, he should have played 30+, why james johnson got minutes instead of him blows my mind!
Also, i think our starting 5 should be, turner, taylor, duarte, hield, haliburton, (could switch taylor out for oshae), and the bench be smith, oshae, nesmith, mathurin, nembhard, and run the second unit through mathurin. McConnell should get no minutes, and neither should james Johnson, and id maybe even try throwing jackson in at the 5 with the second, and put smith at the 4. All i know is us continuing to run small lineups will only hurt us.
Pacers got killed on the boards again. Teams will play bigger lineups against the small Pacers.
