This dude spent the last two months telling anyone who would listen that the nets were a dumpster fire that should blow it up.
Now he refuses to admit that the team can compete in the east. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a beat reporter more biased against the team he’s supposed to be covering than Friedell.
He should be banished to cover the rockets or something.
It’s totally fine to think that Nets won’t make it out of the East, but at least give some good reasons. Something as subjective as “mental toughness” is an arbitrary metric. This 10 game win streak, beating tough eastern teams, and the team trusting JV when behind isn’t a sign of mental toughness? Ok buddy.
Definitely a clown but I’m also not convinced we beat a healthy Boston as is.
If this nets team can stay healthy I feel very confident they can beat any team. This team is better than last years team by such a wide margin
