It’s insane how underrated Tatum is on r/nba. Dude is a stud and this sub treats him like he’s not impacting the game like other top tier players in the league.

E: To put a fine point on this, it’s extremely difficult to score on elite efficiency while also playing All-NBA perimeter defense. Defense is about effort — and expending that level of effort on the defensive end should make us grade elite perimeter defenders on a curve when they’re up there with the elite scorers. It’s extremely difficult to do that.

What two months of Dennis Schroder will do to a mfers stats

Celtics are so stacked that’s why Tatum shouldn’t be so high in the mvp race!

Yeah but Tatum makes the Celtics great. If being +832 with him on the court and -24 off the court doesn’t show what kind of impact Tatum has on the team then I don’t know what to say. You can plug Tatum with 4 Celtics bench players like they do at the start of the 2nd and 4th often, and they always come out as a plus. He rightfully deserves to be there with any candidate for mvp.

Fucking Derrick White couldn’t just be better than Jokic had to break the chain smh

This post is supposed to be about Tatum but it is absolutely insane to see 5 Boston players on top with insane plus minus and then there is Jokic blending in without a single teammate in sight.
