  1. 47 points for the 38 year old GOAT. Can't wait to see reactions from Lebron's haters šŸ™‚

  2. So now we know the winning formula for the Lakers without Anthony Davis in the lineup.
LeBron needs to take 27 shots and be 50% or better from the field.
Now we know Austin Reaves will not go 1 of 13 like tonight, so I can expect the lakers to win the next few games by double digits if LeBron gets greedy and take more shots.

  3. We see comments below on Lebronā€™s longevity. Many people gloss over longevity like itā€™s a simple thing that someone uses to do things that he wouldnā€™t otherwise have done. No one stopped MJ or other players from playing for much longer time than they did. Kobe did the 20 years with records and people didnā€™t mention longevity as an issue. Kareem did 20 years with a now almost 38-year old NBA points record. People didnā€™t mention longevity as an issue. You can know more about how great a player is when semantics are created or introduced to dismantle their achievements or greatness. Lebron should not be castigated for his ability to play for a very long time and at a very high level. MJ should have done the same, but he chose not to. There was no rule against it. Only he can tell why he didnā€™t. MJ was in his own class when he played and his greatness can never be questioned.

The LBJ-MJ debate continues with records in different eras. People tend to talk about 6-0 for MJ, but ignore the other seasons he played in the NBA. A playerā€™s records span their entire career. MJ talked about the increase in the number of talented players in this era in an interview (YouTube – ā€œMichael Jordan addresses Lebron James comparisonsā€.) It tells you a lot about what he saw in his era or earlier ones. MJ was clearly ahead of his time. It was like he was acting in a time travel movie.

Let us just enjoy the game of basketball. The two guys are ā€˜GOATSā€™ of their eras.
