    The fact that he can get 40 whenever he wants at this age is insane.

    Sure the league is a bit offense heavy nowadays. Man I wish we could see young 22 yo Bron play in todays NBA with literally 0 real defensive big mans clogging the paint. Look at what guys like Giannis and Luka are doing with all the spacing and no interior defense whatsoever. Imagine young Bron.. he would be average 40 on insane efficiency. Dude was dominating in the 2000s when every team had 2 defensive bigs camping in the paint. As good Giannis is in todays NBA, he wouldn’t be the same 20 years ago, especially with his lack of real shooting. Giannis is on most nights the biggest and strongest dude on the court for either team, he just bullies his way to the rim with ease. He wouldn’t be doing that in the previous eras.

    I seen the whole game, I was at home watching the game, you know. Before the game even started, when I seen, I said he’s probably gonna score 38 tonight. I don’t know what made me say that. My friends was with me, and they was like, ‘Okay’. When he hit 38, I was like, ‘He might as well go for 45 now’. I’m basically a fan of the game and to see that performance was unbelievable.”
