  1. Are You surprised by this move and do you expect a trade to happen soon? Make sure to subscribe for more Raptors content and check out the trivia question at the end of the video!

  2. Saw a comment yesterday by a Memphis fan – " Get GTJ".

I wonder if any NBA managers feel the same way and are thinking of sending two players for Gary Trent.

  3. Dude was always hurt. We should have waived him long ago. You when we were struggling with injuries. He just couldn’t stay healthy. I hope he does what Yuta did and gets healthy and starts playing well but not for the Raptors. Remember Yuta had opportunities last season but couldn’t stay healthy. Availability is the most important skill for any 15th man on any roster.

  4. Yes, you are right they shouldn't move him , he has the potential a good player iam so pissed off the move he was not given the chance look at all the players they given off Davis, Watanabe, Powell,,, raptors is a syndicate organization just want to make money

  5. I think Nurse has become the problem, Nets changed coaches and now challenging for top spot,
Dowtin should play more, Flynn also,
Scottie should center or wing guy Delano should get more minutes,
We need a center ie. Whiteside anybody just do it.
    Time for Nurse to go,

  6. Masai doesn't trust the current core of the raptors. Nobody is safe from getting traded it simply has to be the right move. That's why Bobby and Masai aren't addressing the blatant roster issues.

  7. It's not brain surgery. He's not very good. He's a C- level player and the Raps have an over abundance of C-Level players. We have too many C and B- Level players. We have 2 guys who show up and perform every night. 2 more who are good "most" of the time. Everyone else are mediocre, hence the very mediocre results. I don't if your his agent but you don't keep guys because they like the organization.

  8. Its not about money , He wanted out … wish him well, we need to move on sign some 10 days

  9. No matter what Masai do. If NN doesn't like his players. They will be bench and not having playing time at all.. It's all about NN favoritism. 0/11 or 1/15, if NN likes you, you will play for 40 minutes.

  10. Unless there is a huge bomb type of trade I want NN gone. He can be a good coach for a good team but is useless for developing and we are in/ should be in a development mode.

  11. Given how young Champagnie is and the promise he has shown
in the limited opportunity he has been given
I think this is a mistake, especially given that he wanted to play for the Raptors.

I would have been much more likely to let Jauncho go if that is allowed.

And I think it was a mistake to not give Champagnie more
    playing time.

    Good luck to him.
I expect him to find success elsewhere.

  12. JC has a very efficient stat sheet-he actually did a lot of positive things in very limited time. Why is Juancho getting so much time? Why is Birch guaranteed so much? Totally agree with you on this one. Get some rest!

  13. I doubt anyone snags him but it would take his $ off our books. He did complain about not playing. Maybe some attitude issues. What we do know is signing JC was wasted money since he didn't see the floor

  14. Maybe he had an ego/attitude problem. He did make a social media post saying "FREE ME" because he wasn't getting playing time. Well, now he's free.

  15. The raptors should tank and rebuild for the future…they are not luring championship calibre pieces here through free agency and/or dont wanna pay hefty luxury taxes so rebuild through the draft and work up from there

  16. Respectfully, I gotta disagree on this one. I think this was the only option that they had, should they want to waive someone. I believe that there are lots going on behind-the-scenes that we don’t see, and so Champagnie – the last guy picked for the team – making a public statement demanding more playing time is a bad look and largely indicative of issues behind-the-scenes. Not to mention Nick Nurse has openly said that if you don’t put in the time and work hard towards Toronto’s vision of how they want the team to go, he won’t play you. Case and point is Dalano. Leading the G-League in scoring, doesn’t get much run on the main team. It’s not that he’s bad statistically, it’s that he’s not contributing fully to what the vision of the team is. These things, along with him having some injury struggles this year, have compounded and, honestly, made him the only obvious selection to be waived. It’s a case of “what have you done for me lately?”, and he wasn’t demonstrating enough to play for the main team, while his “competition” was.

  17. We are always talking about a starting centre (which is needed) but this team would have way more wins if they had a better pg that pushed the pace, drove to the net and could finish through contact and could also pass the ball effectively……I know you love Fred but his point of attack D and horrible hero ball O this year, along with Pascals tunnel vision and overrated D, are the biggest detriments on this team!
