Pacers are not constructed for a playoff run, we should all know that by now, but you're right, people can be too hopeful or just plain dumb. It's a fun team but we ARE going to lose Turner, he's a free agent and we need to get something from him and WE WILL because he's playing so good and playing to get traded to the Lakers. Let's unload Turner and Hield and get our draft picks and get our center or 4.5 of the future , then we got options in two years to make a deep run in the playoffs. As long as we all realize that the Pacers are Fool's Gold, then we all good (including management)
Building toward the future is more important than keeping players just to make the playoffs. Hield and Turner are not the future. We need to maximize their trade value for better players.
