Bulls fall short against Cavs to end 2022 with a thud | CHGO Bulls Postgame Show

The CHGO Bulls crew break down the Bulls 103-102 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on New Years Eve. It was all set up for DeMar DeRozan to be the hero again one year later, but his buzzer-beater was off the mark this time. Should Zach LaVine have gotten the shot this time? Matt, Big Dave and Mark discuss the same problems that plagued the Bulls in this loss: transition defense, defensive rebounding and their inability to make threes. On the bright side, the Bulls got huge contributions from the young guards duo of Coby White and Ayo Dosunmu. Will joins the guys from the UC to offer his analysis of the game and postgame comments from Billy Donovan and the players. Join Matt Peck, Big Dave, Will Gottlieb and Mark K. as the CHGO Bulls team sends 2022 off for good.

  1. Smh Peck misrepresenting my comment when I said “they made the shot as hard as possible) instead of “he made the shot as hard as possible”… regardless, the shot shouldn’t even be hyper analyzed b/c it is DeMar.

Lets talk about leaving Caruso out there ( a non scoring threat) instead of subbing in Coby ( a scoring threat) so that Mitchell can’t leave to double w/o any repercussions & how Bulls force feed PWill at the beginning of every game just to give him scraps for the rest of the game… Billy’s playbook is as thick as Flat Stanley

See Red! New year’s resolution is having a TEAM EFFORT (instead of blaming Drummond & Pat) to defensive rebound… two guys can’t beat out an entire team crashing the boards!

  2. This game should have been won! Billy is not the coach to get us over the hump and compete like a top tier team in the East. There was to many stretches where the offense wasn’t run, and Billy did nothing to demand them to play their offense. Their defense was the only thing that kept them in this game. DeMar should not be playing hero ball every single night, get Vuch and LaVine involved and attack the rim when you’re in the BONUS!!!

  3. The problem is Billy Donovan. This man is a super bad coach. He never play Tony Bradley a vet who can run and jump with young players something Voch struggles to do. Donovan never put dual centers against opposing dual center line ups which is why I believe the Bulls are losing the rebounding game in these kind of situations. Donovan is stuck in small ball world and can't fine his way out and opposing coaches know this weakness is in this coach which is why opposing teams get to dominate the paint.

  4. They said they are ok with the bulls losing this game. We need change. Even on the post game

  5. Demar has earned the right to take the final shot but he hasn’t earned the right to take a dumb ass shot. Why did he run all the way to the corner and take an off balance one legged shot. He had multiple better options like taking it to the cup, getting to his spot at the elbow or how about this one pass the fucking ball to zach

  6. No we don’t know Kevin’s Durant get the ball they switch it up with kryie who just hit a game winner in Toronto know your personal we can’t keep going to Zach teams know where we’re going to go have to switch it up i don’t care what demar did last year that’s last year no more miracles give Zach a chive

  7. Everyone is acting like this L is no big deal when in reality the bulls can easily go 0-5 or 1-4 in their next 5. And at that point season over we’re not climbing out of that hole

  8. This show is becoming more and more of a Demar apologists network. And I say that as a huge fan of Demar.

Folks are only stating that we have two players that can win a game. Why not use the other option some times?
We’re going to need Zack to have that confidence long after Demar is gone.

Bulls need to pick up there rebounding.
