I'm not too crazy about Kendrick Perkins. He's too much of a "fair weather friend-type" of fan. For example, when the C's were on that little losing streak he was like a scared rat jumping off of a sinking ship, while blaming Joe Mazzulla for not sailing it right. I mean the guy lost 5 out of 6 games and Perk was saying Udoka was better?
Come on Big Perk! Ime started his first NBA coaching season 18 – 21 in his first 39 games with the media screaming for Brad Stevens to break up the Jays because "they couldn't play together," while Joe has went 24 – 10 in his first 34, had the NBA's all-time best offense in league history through November (14 – 2), and is a candidate for NBA Coach of the Year, has Tatum playing at MVP-level, and the Jays playing together as the best dynamic duo in basketball – and the C's STILL continue to break and set both NBA and Boston records as they go.
Really? To me, there's no contest up to this point, with Joe blowing Ime's doors off so far, period.
