It really shows how important an anchor like capela is and even a decent perimeter guy like Hunter is . When they are in our defense is actually pretty decent for the most part. Having those guys in also allows JC to thrive at the 4 on D and DJM can get away with being more aggressive with Hunter by his side. We have a fragile team depth wise. All together we can put together a decent defense , slightly depleted then we are fucked. Opposite to teams like the heat and Memphis where defensive culture is embedded, they can put all sorts of different line ups out and still be at least average. It’s built in to teams like that which is what I pray we can build to

Holy shit this guy is annoying and super nit picky on many of these clips. There were certainly several blown defensive sets, but we held the #1 offense in the league over the last 15 games to 108 points. We were the first team to hold KD under 50% from the field in over a month (14 games). We got 5 steals, 6 blocks and were +8 in TOs. We were also missing two of our top 3 defenders in Dre and Clint.

It is absolutely unfuckingbelievable that Nate got rid of our offensive minded assistant coaches to bring in his own defensive minded guys and now all 3 main coaches are defense and we’re still dogshit.
He ruined our offense only to ruin both our offense and defense.
