They have the bulls pick too.. I wonder if they’d be willing to give up either their own or bulls pick..

I doubt we’d get such a sweet package. Magic really need more solid vets though. Don’t waste this core of Wagner/Pablo/Suggs(?).

If that frp was instead the 2025 denver pick the magic own, I think there’s a chance both teams agree. Orlando give up 3 guys that probably aren’t in their long term future and a distant first for an expiring vet pg they could use. Toronto gets a young shot creator guard who is inefficient but with some potential, a true 7 footer with all the tools but no iq reclamation project and a pretty solid 3 and D guard to come off the bench and even plug and play in the starting lineup.

Only first we’d get from the Magic is the 2025 Nuggets FRP

  5. Why would they want to trade for Fred in the first place?

To be fair this was posted yesterday and like 80% of the people were shitting on how delusional it was for the raptors to get this.

  7. Can we at least wait 2 or 3 days before reposting shit lol

How does one reporters article make us all delusional?

  9. NoseBlind2

This was posted yesterday and people were trying to justify how this benefits Orlando lmao

We’d be flush with lotto picks too if we had top ten picks every year like them. Yet they still can’t win a chip.

If this was last year everyone in this sub would be saying “NO WAY! FRED IS WORTH MORE THAN THAT! he’s an All-Star! dur dur dur…” and now 3 months into the season people are saying that Orlando wouldn’t make this trade…it amazes me how short-sighted people are and how to undervalue a player just because he’s going through a shooting slump…I don’t think Fred is suited for this position-less system and I think he’s better suited to play SG over PG BUT on another team, he’s a 20+ppg combo guard and a possible All-Star again IMO.

If you’re a team and your evaluating a player that you want to trade for, you’re looking at the bigger picture, like “what’s this player’s FULL body of work” “How does he fit into our system?” “does this trade move the needle” “Does this move build culture and help us move in the right direction” GM’s aren’t thinking “Well…he’s only 8 month removed from being an All-Star and he’s generally been one of the most consistent players in the league BUT he’s going through a shooting slump so I guess he sucks now…” lol Look around the league, there are plenty of examples of Star players who’ve had shooting slumps and come out looking like Stars…it happens.
