No. 5 Arizona men’s basketball held off Arizona State’s second-half comeback effort to win 69-60 in Tempe. Azuolas Tubelis led all scorers with 21 points. The Wildcats are now 13-1 and 2-1 in Pac-12 play.
BH time almost up. Seems to me ASU has ballers who are still trying to learn how to be hoopers. UofA has hoopers and they will always probably just be hoopers. I would rather have the ballers and turn them into hoopers. Ballers can always get you a bucket, a J off the dribble, penetration with a dunk, acrobatic layup, get you a steal, win you a game….hoopers knock down open looks, play team defense, play team offense, win you games….
My dad is a big time TCU fan ever since moving to the metroplex back in the 70's from Central Texas. Dr's are saying we won't have him too much longer after being a Vietnam Vet and hard working man ever since. His vision and hearing are almost gone but he still was able to semi watch this game.
