Meh, we always seem to meet teams who’re on a losing streak and desperate for a win. Lakers, Kings, Wolves.
If Jokic is missing easy bunnies, you know he’s tired and if he’s tired, just imagine how the other guys feel.
I literally feel nothing about this loss.
Really looking forward to another B2B in two days though! /s
I feel like I say this after almost every game, but hot damn do they need to get MPJ more shots. I don’t mean he has to take 25 FGAs or anything, but when he’s 6-9 overall and 4-6 from three (plus the one he hit that didn’t count because of Jokic’s foul) you *have* to get him more involved. Especially when Jamal basically stayed in Denver, AG’s shoulder disintegrated, and with Jokic being a bit off his usual game.
Like, I just genuinely don’t understand the reasoning behind not doing this at least every once in a while- particularly with Bones able to shoot as many times as he wants in his limited minutes (though he did have a good game tonight).
Dear nba
Why is every road game vs a divisional opponent the second of a back to back for us?
Ugly loss, whatever, it happens.
I’m not going to get too upset about it when a guy might have just died in an NFL game.
Here comes the “I need to find Braun more playing time” from Malone post game
Don’t really understand the need to travel 900 miles and play on a back to back.
Jokic gets mauled and shoots 4/5 FTs regularly, Luka just shot 20, Tatum 14 yesterday. Seems like some guys just get a bunch of them and others don’t (LeBron is another victim of this)
Don’t take this the wrong way but didn’t think they’d win this game coming in anyway having to go to minny late on the second night of a home/road B2B the team as a whole def looked tired in general – it’s one game and one loss have already switched focus to Thursday and the clippers
Unrelated but prayers up for Damar Hamlin even scarier/sadder to hear that his mother was apparently at the game tonight thinking/praying for his physical and mental health and safety and that of his familys
On a positive note, Jokic shot 10-20 extending his 50% FG streak to 28 games.
Austin Rivers was well up for it tonight.
You give up 124 points and CB only plays 3 minutes. Makes no sense.
Malone stay stoopid. How do you sit bones at the end when he was the only one hitting shots..

No but seriously. If Bones-Jokic minutes don’t end i am going to fucking lose it. Play Murray/Brown rotation differently so that Bones-Jokic minutes don’t happen. Or put Braun out there i guarantee you Jokic will manage. Try staggering AG/MPJ or KCP with Bones instead of Murray in total as a last resort, IDK. It isn’t worth more Bones-Jokic minutes and less Murray-Jokic minutes. Just gotta do smth about it, it’s the most detrimental thing to the team currently IMO.
[Malone deciding who gets what minutes](https://youtu.be/wz-PtEJEaqY)
Malone has to have his bad decisions taken away from him or he’ll just keep making them. Last night was maybe his best coached game of the year. Spoiler alert: it was only because Murray was resting and Green is injured that Malones rotations were good. Once Green is back- you think he’s going to stagger AG with the bench?? Hell no. He’s going to keep trying to force the Murray Bones lineup that is dreadful on defense and disjointed on offense. He’ll go back to the Joker, AG, Murray 3 man hockey lineup change after the bench gives up momentum.
Still cannot believe we left a good corner 3pt shooter open to double Ant Edwards. It’s going to be the first and only double team he’ll see in his NBA career
.
Lotta things went wrong tonight, a lot can be blamed on it being a B2B, but it was really weird they didn’t run the Jok-Murray 2-man game at all down the stretch in the clutch.
They didn’t make any stops so it probably wouldn’t have mattered, still weird.
Prayers up for Damar Hamlin.
Grateful for you guys, hope you all have a good night ♥️
Lost to a G league team.
Beat the best team in the league, lose to an 11 seed the next day. Run from it, hide from it, Nugglyfe finds a way
and Ken Block died?! wtf!
Another thing I cannot for the life of me understand, is when we’re down considerably with a few minutes to go, and the loss is imminent, get all your hottest shooters out and have them shoot hail-mary 3s. Give Porter the ball.
That should be an automatic, I don’t get it.
Sorry I’m late. Here is the player rating survey! https://forms.gle/JtPKzMhqaa3vCPDb7
Back to back games suck. Hot take.
I love how Malone is appearantly both an idiot for playing Bones as the only balhandler who can create his own shot *and* playing Bones with other ballhandlers who can create shots.
Back to back with Mal & AG not showing up. Not overreacting to this.
Probably the only game where no one cares about the loss
I’m blaming ringgate.
Malone would be low elo in starcraft
Poor nuggets had to go to work 2 days in a row 🙁 must be tufffff
Murray is probably the one guy in the starting lineup you shouldn’t stagger the bench with
This isn’t the type of personnel decision that will matter at all come playoff time, but I still think it’s weird Denver chose Davon Reed over Austin Rivers in free agency.
I’m reading Hyperion for the first time, and damn do I wish I could get me some Shrikeussy.
This was kinda scheduled loss , i am just kinda sad we didn’t use opportunity to rest Jokic and rest , lord knows they need it . Was saying before game this is a game where you should load manage…. Now we overexerted our starters and still lost
Another concern is that with Murray in lineup our defense gets much worse , i mean we just managed to hold one of best team in West Grizlies to under 100 and best in East Celtics to 107 (but could have managed to hold them under 100 as well if not for some soft FT calls ) And now we conceive 125 vs depleted Timberwolves ..
Murray gets back in and Malone somehow can’t find minutes for Braun guy who was balling out vs top teams … What does he needs to do to get his minutes i am not sure .
We don’t win a Scott Foster game unless it’s at home lol
Frustrating game
And now we get the clippers and cavs (again 2nd of b2b for us)
Might get ugly soon. Hope we can stay top 6 after January ends
Man what the fuck is up with today? Ken Block dies in a snowmobile accident, Jeremy Renner nearly kills himself with his snowplow, then Damar Hamlin MNF thing. Shit is crazy.
In our Bones/Murray line ups, it’s like there’s no plan at all. If we’re going to play Murray with the bench, then it would make sense to make him the focal point of the offense, right? But he was passive af in the 2nd quarter. I don’t know what MoAcH MuNder is telling him to do. If Murray isn’t going to do shit, might as well rest him to save his legs. And this also opens a spot for Braun making the line up defensively better.
There’s no coaching plan whatsoever. It’s like Munder is telling them to do whatever they want.
It’s been more than 5 years and we still suck so hard in non-Jokic minutes. If that’s not and indictment of Malone’s coaching, I don’t know what is.
Braun only played 3 minutes on a B2B when no one could guard Edwards. Makes sense
It’s time to kill the Bones-Murray-Bruce bench lineup. Bench should be Bones-Bruce-CB-AG-Vlatko. Bruce is not a 3. CB needs to play.
No way people are using the Damar Hamlin thing to push their dumbass antivax agendas. Selfish pricks
What’s going on with Hamlin is scary as hell. I hope he’s okay.
Didn’t get around to tonight’s game. From looking at the box score it just genuinely looks like we had an off night given that it was a B2B against a team that was desperate to break their losing streak. Next 4 at home, let’s take care of business
malone such an organized adult that he makes his monthly rotations a month in advance. i think he’s got CB playing 20+ minutes in late january. be patient
