Donovan Mitchell recorded a career-high and Cleveland Cavaliers franchise record 71 points (55 points in 2nd half + overtime), along with 8 rebounds, and 11 assists for the Cavaliers as they defeated the Chicago Bulls, 145-134, in overtime. DeMar DeRozan tallied 44 points and 4 assists for the Bulls. The Cavaliers improve to 24-14 on the season, while the Bulls fall to 16-21.

Oh btw I just wanted to rub this in a little more for all the D.Mitchell haters here's another fun fact but D.Mitchell's 71 is also the 2nd highest total aside from Kobe's 81 in the 21st century now chew on that😆 His NBA peers give him props but you average people who can't even make a NBA team hates🧐 I think your just Butt hurt😆 Oh yeah Happy New Years everyone!!!!

  3. It’s crazy how many people have been scoring 50 and 60 this season and now 70. Insane performance by Spida, one I’ll never forget but I feel like we will see this again sooner rather then later.

  4. The Cavs did well in getting Mitchell from Utah but not near as well as the T-Wolves did stealing Gobert from them for basically nothing.
